Chapter 1. Meet and Greet (Jacks POV)

4:30 AM. Ooh boy. I had been recording and editing videos for hours on end in preparation for PAX. Maybe I should take a break...my eyes were burning from looking at the screen anyways. Letting out a sigh of relief, I pulled my eyes away from my screen and tried to quietly walk to the kitchen for some coffee and maybe a 'past 4 pm snack'
BZZZZT
I practically gave my phone a damn death glare as it buzzed like crazy. It was an alert that I got a text.
"Who the bloody hell is up at this time?" I mumbled as I unlocked my phone and glanced over the text, which was, of course, from Mark. Only he would be ballsy enough to text me at this time knowing that there was the risk of waking me.
Mark:
Hey man! Ready for PAX? :D
Jack:
Can you not read a clock? It's nearly 5!
... But to answer your question, HELL YES!!!!
Mark:
Haha, really funny, me reading anything. Well, I'll see you at the panel ;)
I chuckled and stuffed my phone back in my pocket and began the slow and silent trip back to my recording room and computer. "Just a few more hours"

Time skip
I couldn't help but smile as I approached the building the convention was held in. I stared in awe at the line of millions of people talking excitedly amongst themselves and laughing. "JACK YOU IRISH BASTARD!" I jumped slightly at the sound of someone yelling followed by me being swept into a tight hug, and I immediately knew who it was. "Hey Markimoo!" I laughed and hugged him back. "Ready to head to the panel?" He asked excitedly and I nodded. I couldn't help but smile as his energy and childish-like nature right now. "Yeah man!" I chuckled and started walking inside, followed close by Mark. On our way to the panel, we shared quick stories off our flights here and how we each had our own awkward encounters with fans.
This was going to be fun.
