I stared, anxious, at the image of a girl in the mirror. She didn't look like me, hair slightly curled and falling over her shoulders, eyes painted with a pallet of Browns and golds. I wore a skin tight black dress, ending with a straight line above my knees, and a faded brown leather jacket. My foot felt like it had been molded inside its slanting cage, I could barely walk in those heels. The bright blue of the sky was dying outside, slowly turning into a misty pink color. I checked my phone, 98%, and dropped it in a pocket of my purse.
"You ready?" Kayla asked quietly, her slim body draped with what looked like a violet curtain. "Yeah, let's go." I said, violently trying not to brake my neck as I walked. Kayla smiled,  amused as she looked at my shoes. "I told you not to put them on." She scoffed, walking out of the dorm in front of me. I remembered her tutting as I pulled out a pair of 4.5 inch shoes, just the right color.  'no way! You can't put those on!' She had told me. And now I had regretted it, but hell, they compliment my legs well enough. "Shut up" I said with a sly grin, following her into the hallway.

(This one was very short😶💀)
