Abused.

I lay down in my nice soft bed and drift away, But am awaken by my father. "Get up you brats!" I hear him yell up the stairs. In an instant I get up and get dressed, I put on a old sweatshirt and ripped jeans, I have 3 outfits, that's one. "Your gonna be late now let's go!" He yells with anger. My little sister, Kate is already dressed and walks over to me. "Come, Dont worry I won't let anything happen to you," I promise while taking her hand and leading her down stairs. My father walks up and takes me by the neck and slaps me really hard on the cheek, I strain, Tears fill up in my eyes. "You cry and Ill beat you to death!" He yells while tightening his grip on my neck. I keep my tears back. My neck turns purple, and that's when he lets go. He puts me down and hands me a scarf, "You take it off and Ill kill you!" He says with hatred and I know he is serious. I put the scarf on even though its an 90 degree day. I pick up Kate and lead her to my car and drop her off to daycare. Then I quickly drive to school and barely make it in.
