So I made this a while ago based on something I saw on Tumblr but I can't seem to find the original post. I'll update it once I find it, for now here's a simple tutorial for a character moodboard.
Here's one I made for my main character Lydia from my marvel fanfic Sucker Punch (which you can read on my main batesmoteI )

What You Need:

1. For the colours, find some that match your character. For elements, google some items (png images are best) that relate to your character. Add a quote or two under quotes that your character has said. Add some pictures of your character/faceclaim under portraits. For textures, google some or go on tumblr that look cool and have a similar colour scheme to your colours.
Note: images with a similar colour scheme will make your mood board more aesthetically pleasing.
2. When adding an image, just go on Superimpose or PicsArt and under blend mode change it to screen, then place it in the circle/square.
3. Add your character's name as the title, and bam! You're done :)
