"The armor is making it harder!" I shout.

"Yeah, let it come closer." Glenn adds.

"I got it."

Aidan shoots it's knee, making it fall to the floor, giving Glenn and I a clear view of the armor it's wearing. Just above the pocket on the walkers chest, lays a bomb.

"Aidan wai--" I'm interrupted by a bullet hitting the grenade, making a large explosion knock us back. I'm knocked into a large shelf and a sharp pain erupts in my leg, making me shout in pain. My flashlight drops out of my hand, and within a few feet of me, Noah and Glenn are getting back on their feet.

"Oh God, Violet. Your knee!"

I quirk a brow, looking down at my leg. A section of a broken shelf, had shot through the side of my leg, making blood drip down my leg.

"Oh God, oh no, this can't be happening."

"Just calm down, I got you." Glenn tells me.

I can't let this slow me down. If I slow down, I'll die.

I couldn't let myself die. I had to stay alive for Carl. Ever since I first met him at the prison just a few months back, he's been giving me something to live for, something to fight for.

After losing my sister, I was pissed at the world, depressed but Carl brought me up with just a few words. He made me smile, he made me happy. I knew it was a rare occasion in this world to be really happy, but Carl constantly made me feel that way.

I had to get out of here. Alive.

For him.

"Lift me off."

"What?" Glenn and Noah ask.

"Vi, you could bleed out." Noah says, panicking.

"There are walkers coming, we need to go, now do it." I demand.

They turn towards each other, nodding. Glenn grabs my flashlight, as Noah grabs my right shoulder. His other hand goes below my thigh, beginning to pull my leg off the shelf.

I yelp out in pain making Glenn jump up and cover my mouth quickly.

"They're close, we have to do this quickly."

He reaches down, replacing Noah's hands and rips my leg off in one swift movement. I scream as blood pours onto Glenn's arm and the floor.

"Guys!" Nicholas shouts. We look over the shelf, seeing him pointing his flashlight at a dead Aidan. He's propped up on a shelf, having multiple knives pinning him up.

"Oh God." I cry.

"Sh, it's okay." Glenn whispers to me.

"Eugene! Tara!"

"Here! Over here!"

Glenn carries me over to the shelf opposite of Eugene, who stands next to Tara, who is passed out on the floor.

"Is she breathing?" Noah asks. "Eugene!"

"I don't know! I can't see from here."

"They're coming!" Nicholas shouts, making an appearance next to us.

"There's a walker!" Eugene shouts.

"Eugene, listen to me," I say, "It's yours, you have to take it out. I know you can do this. Please, just do it for Tara."

He shakily brings up the gun, ready to shoot, when another walker comes from behind, bringing him to the ground. Glenn hands me to Noah and hops over the shelf, lifting the walker off of Eugene. He uses the butt of his gun to smash the walkers head in. He shoots the oncoming walker as Noah guides me through the shelf carefully.
