Batman and Robin returned from a long night of patrol. Robin was extremely exhausted. He didn't show it though. But of course, Batman noticed.

"Damian, why don't you get to bed?"

"Father, I'm fine." He yawned again.

"No you're not. Just go to bed. Please Damian" Damian shook his head.

"I am fine. "

"Have it your way." Robin snuck up behind Nightwing who asleep at the computer. He grabbed his shoulders and shook him a little.

"Grayson! Wake up!"

"Wha-I'm awake!" His hair was a mess and and he looked tired.

"Grayson, you should get to bed. You look awful." Damian was continuously yawning.

"You probably should too kiddo. You look worse" Dick wiped the drool of his face.

"I am not tired! I am fully awake!" Damian yawned again. He sat on the chair Dick was.

"So how'd it go? You know, his first day back on the battlefield?"

"We didn't get a chance to fight. But, he wanted to." Bruce looked at Damian who was struggling to stay awake.

"Well, he is acting like he fought."

"I don't think he slept well last night. He was tired all day but he insisted on coming with me."

"Oh well, Damian is restless. Most of the time. Right now, he could be doing better" Damian perked up for a second.

"I'm just fine! I can stay up for a month if I have too!" His actions said otherwise. Right after he said that, He fell back and his arms were hanging down. He slowly started to fall asleep. Once he was asleep, he was out cold. He was quietly snoring but otherwise, he seemed peaceful.

"I'll take little Robin to bed. He can't even stay awake for 24 hours!" Dick picked up Damian and headed upstairs.  Dick set Damian into bed. He wasn't waking up to change. Dick removed his mask so he could sleep a little more peacefully.

Once he left, Damian woke up. He was half awake and half asleep. He took a moment and the  shot up. His cheeks were red and he saw his mask on a nightstand. He realized his cape was removed. He got mad for  moment. Mad at himself for falling asleep and mad at whoever brought him to bed. He turned the lights back on and jumped out of bed. He started to run downstairs and then stopped. Someone was talking close by. As instinct, he stopped to listen.

"So, I don't think he'll notice."  Damian stopped to wonder. Who was he?

"Not notice? He's with me all the time."

"So, do it when he's not" Damian couldn't quite make out who it was. But, he still listened.

"That's not as easy as you think."

"Look, he won't realize. I don't even think he knows he knows who he his."

"That's my point! I  don't want him to know! He's to young!"

"You were his age right?"

"No! Well maybe. But, he's his son and all. That is to much to risk!"

"Dick, listen. He'll be fine. Just tell him!" Damian stopped. Dick but who else?

"If Damian found out, and it was because of me,"

"I know. Bruce would kill you." Damian listened closer. Dick was hiding something form Damian. He is gonna find out.

"Look Wally, just go home. I'll deal with it. I'll call you later." Damian backed back up to his room. All of his exhaustion turned into curiosity.  He couldn't take all this info in at once. He ran to his room and slammed the door. He started to whisper.

"Grayson is hiding something from me. And by the looks of it, it isn't good." He sat on his bed. He froze for a minute. Someone was approaching his room. Please don't be Grayson. Please don't be Grayson. Sure enough, it was him.

"Oh. You're awake. Well..." It was awkward for Damian especially since he just heard him talk about a secret being kept from him.

"Grayson, if there was something wrong, you'd tell me right?"

"Of course little D. I hope you aren't worried about something. You have no reason to be. I can assure you." He was a very good liar. Almost as if he had nothing to hide.

"Yeah. But what if it was so bad, you felt you shouldn't tell me?"

"Yes. No matter how bad." Dick put on a smile. He was really good at lying.
