Nathaniel's POV

"Answer the phone, bitch!" I yelled at my phone, dialing Austin's number again

Ring......ring....ring.....ring blah blah blah voicemail thingy. "SON OF A FUCK!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Nathaniel James Walls!! Angels don't cuss!" I heard my mom scream from downstairs. I sighed loudly and dramatically of course *I hope that when you're dreaming, you see me, and you are screaming!* my phone rang. I picked it up immediately. "It's about flippin time" I said annoyed. "Baby! I'm sorry! Is everything okay? Are you okay?" He crammed in one breath. "I'm fine. Get your sexy ass here NOW!" I saw Austin's car pull up and I decided to surprise him. "Hey fag, your lips look kinda swollen. What did you and your desperate boyfriend do last night?" I heard someone ask. I decided to ignore it. Then I heard another voice "He's not desperate! He could have any guy he wants!" Nathaniel? "Not true." The first voice said. "Because if he wanted me, he would be in bad luck" I sighed loudly "Nathaniel!" I called "Can we have one day without drama here?" I asked slightly annoyed. "They started it. I was just defending you!" He began to cry. Now I feel bad. I spat and walked off and picked Nathan up and carried him to his 1st period.

"Don't go" he whispered and I sat him down at his desk "I'll be right outside to pick you up when class is over. I promise" I smiled and he wouldn't let me go. He was still crying. A girl came up to us. She had brown hair with blonde roots and smaller glasses "Hi, I'm Lynzy. Is he okay?" "He's kinda sensitive." She nodded "I'll hang out with him and protect him if you want" "thank you! I wish there were more sweet people like you around here" I sat him down. "Is he your brother?" She asked "Boyfriend" I mouthed "Can I be you guys friend" I nodded "Nathaniel. Stay here with Lynzy" I looked at her to see if I had her name right. She nodded and they started talking instantly. "I'll be here to pick you up in an hour. Love you" he kissed me "love you too" he said softly and I kissed back and ran so I wouldn't be any later to my class
