So here I am sitting on the couch in my living room oposite my parents waiting for the verdict. Eight weeks of no school, no homework and no boys trying to get in my pants. The only problem is that I am gettng sent away, just like every year. What family member will it be this year? I've already been to Uncle George and Aunt Cassy's, Grandma and Grampa (both sets of grandparents), all of my other Aunts and Uncles. God, there cant be any more reletives can there?
You see my parents are both "Very Important People" in the buisness so every summer vaction they go off on a romantic cruise round europe for some "relaxation time" as they put it and ship me off to a relativ for the summer. Only one problem this year. Every relative has had me for a summer so there is no more places for me to go, unless they are planning to send me off to summer camp, but really who's going to send their seventeeen year old daughter to a summer camp?
"Adriana." My father's smooth but stern voice breaks me out of my inner rant gaining my attention." As their is no other relatives we can send you to this summer we have come to a decision." I knew it he's finally allowing me to come with him and mom on their cruise. I can see it now boys, beaches and booze, but i am brought back to harsh reality when eleven unepecting words come out of his lips " We are sending you to live with the West's this summer."
Not what i was expecting.
