Those words changed my life forever. I dropped the paper on the ground and ran into Ed's arms. "I did it!" He spun me around in circles and his smile was from ear to ear just like mine. I have wanted this since I was 8 years old. I will finally be able to move out of this little town. Away from my past. Away from everything that has a hold on me.
I am free.
I will put everything behind me and move on with my life. Or at least I will try my damn hardest. I don't know why but I have a feeling that something great is going to happen in New York. I will be happy no matter what. I will find something that makes me happy. That makes me what to do better. Be better. Think better. Something that will change my life and make me want to thrive. To live.
