As the lights went off in the background, I could see even brighter ones in her eyes. She watched in amazement as the fireworks went off, one after another, and I watched in amazement as my life stood in front of me. She told me how much she wanted to see the fireworks together since theyre her favorite, and even though I never cared for them, seeing her this happy made up for it. She gripped me tighter under the blanket as a cold breeze came by, but she never took her eyes off the lights. I kissed her forhead and she quickly looked at me, still smiling like a child, then kissed me and then back at the fireworks. She ended up falling asleep on the ride back home, but the exitment was still on her face. I laughed to myself. This girl was too damn adorable for her own good.
