Prologue

Walking into the old bar I went straight for the bar stool and took a seat, while waiting for the bartender I had a look around the bar gazing at would could possibly be my next victim.

"What can I get ya little lady?" I turned to look at the bartender who was cleaning a tall glass and all I could think was how typical he looked.

"Scotch will do thanks." I said while turning back around on my stool to look around at the people in the bar.

There was only about 15 people total in the whole bar, not including the bartender himself. Gazing around I saw a man around his thirties walk into the men's bathroom, I decided that now was a good as time as ever and followed him to the bathroom while making sure to not being seen while doing so.

As I opened the bathroom door he was washing his hands in the sink, I went to stand behind him and as he turned around I smiled while showing my fangs and lunged at him before he could even make a sound, sinking my fangs into his neck I felt the blood rushing into my mouth while I started to feel the life being drowned from him, until I heard the door being opened behind me.

I let go of the man causing him to drop to the ground and used my vamp speed to face the person that had just walked through the door, not being surprised at all by who had walked in.

"A bar Rose? guess that's not surprising, you did always like them drunk."

"I thought I told you to stay at the house Nadia." I turned my back to her tending to the man on the floor behind me, praying that he wasn't dead and I was able to finish off before I got rudely interrupted by miss nosy behind me.

I wasn't like most vampires around, and either was Nadia after I had found her. There was a system we used to stay under the radar and out of the public eye, which mainly consisted of eating our pray healing them with our blood and then wiping their memory clean leaving no trace that they had even met us, it was an simple system but a hard one to start off with considering vampires had a tendency to not want to stop.

As I walked back over to the man I listened to see if he still had a heart beat and felt satisfied when I heard the distant sound of his heart. I lifted his head with my right hand and bit into my left with my fangs, bringing my hand to his mouth I let my blood pour into his mouth healing him in the process.

As he started to open his eyes I grabbed his face in my hands and looked into his eyes. "You walked into the bathroom and nothing else happened okay? we were never here. Understand?" I compelled him and he nodded his head,  understanding what I was saying.

"Alright lets get out of here, Rudy has some news." Nadia said as she held open the door to the bathroom waiting for me to go through.

"Whats so important that it couldn't wait a few hours?" I said displeased while walking passed her and out towards the back entrance of the bar.

"She has a lead on Noah.." Nadia said and I stopped in my tracks, finally hearing something that was worth my hearing.

I smiled at Nadia.

"Really?"

And she smiled back.

"Really."

I bust opened the front doors to my house, well our house I should say and vamped speed to where Rudy was sitting on the couch with a huge stack of papers around her and a glass of wine in her hand.

"Is it true? You found him? Please to god tell me you found him, I'm in the mood for some neck snapping." I deemed while cracking my knuckles. I was in no mood for playing games right now,  and if Rudy was playing with me then someones neck was definitely going to snap.
