My Princess (DDLG)

"Wake up Da!" I heard.
No. I frowned.
"It's uppy time!" I opened one eye and saw Emma beside me with two cups of coffee.
She used her thermal sippy for hot cocoa and a travel mug for coffee.
I turned over.
She giggled and put the cups on our night stand. She curled up behind and wrapped her arm around me.

She liked being the big spoon sometimes. It made her feel big and special.

"5 more minutes" I mumbled.
"No! it's uppy time!" She pouted. Kicking me in the butt.

I sighed and sat up. Her smile was big. She hugged me.

"Morning Da."
I picked up my coffee cup.
"How did you sleep?"

I tried to recall my sleep but nothing came up.
"I'm not quite sure Emmy. How did you sleep?"
"I don't remember." Shrugged and she took a sip of coffee.

I closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth warming my body

"I maded us ramen!" Emmy gave me a plate.
Chicken ramen with cheese on top.
My stomach growled just looking at it.

"Thanks, Princess." I squeezed her hand. "Thank you!"

We ate silently.
I wasn't a morning person.

Once we were done eating, I cleared our plates.

"Tell me more of the story?" She pointed.
I smiled, looking at the time.

"Okay, but I only have a couple minutes before I have to get ready for work."

"Ok Da."

We snuggled and I continued my story.

A big wolf came through the clearing. Walking on his hind legs, he stood 6ft tall.
The little girl let out a scream!

"Wait da! What's her name?"
Emma asked.

"What?"
I furrowed my brow.

"The little girl! What's her name?"

I thought for a minute.

"Why don't you name her?"
I asked.

"Her name is Chloe!" Emma smiled and snuggled in more.

Chloe let out a scream.
"Don't be afraid, little one." The wolf smiled. His big white teeth glowing from the sun light.
"Who are you?" Chloe demanded.
"Who are you?" The wolf countered.
"I asked first!" Chloe crossed her arms. Standing up. Looking for the quickest place to run.
"I'm hidai" he growled, obviously annoyed by Chloe's stubbornness.
"Now what's your name?" The wolf asked again.
"I'm Chloe." The little girl stuttered.

"Well Chloe..." The wolf began to ran towards her.
He growled as he jumped onto the rock, tackling her to the ground."

I glanced at the time.
"Da has to get ready for work princess."
"Nooooo!" Emma cried out, looking devastated.
"Da will carry on tonight." I smiled and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for work.
