The Real Nerd

'beep beep beep!' My alarm went off.

I groaned and raised my arm to hit the clock.

"Anjolina! GET YOUR ASS UP!" I quickly snapped my head at the door to see my mom standing there with her hands on her hips.

'How did she get there?' I slowly got out of bed and shuffled over to the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror and screamed.

"You ok?! What happened?!" My mom rushed in.

"Nothing. I just scared myself, that's all." I smiled.

"Ok." She walked away to get my little brother Ben.

I looked back in the mirror and looked at myself. My black hair was a mess and tangled everywhere, my mouth was dry and I had a drool stain going from my mouth to my chin, and my eyes had bags under them.

'Well I just woke up.'

I walked back to my room and grabbed my clothes for school and towel then walked back to the bathroom and took a shower. As I was putting my clothes on I heard a bang on the door.

"HURRY UP!" Ben, he was up.

'Great.'

I sighed and put on my clothes faster and walked to the door and when I opened it Ben ran in almost knocking me down.

"Hey!" I turned and glared at him.

"Sorry." He put a innocent face on and I just rolled my eyes.

I walked out my room and looked at my clothes, I had a tan shirt, some dark blue jeans, and black and white converse. I walked back to the bathroom to fix my wet hair, I styled it by letting it out but bangs covered my forehead and I put on my glasses.

"There." I smiled and grabbed my tooth brush and toothpaste. When I was finished brushing my teeth I went to my room and grabbed my backpack and books then walked out to the kitchen to see Ben running around the counters and my mom on the phone while cooking breakfast.

'Poor mom. She has to deal with an animal and a walking piece of shit.'

I walked up to mom and kissed her cheek then looked at the pan.

"Don't worry I'll get it." I grabbed the pan and spatula.

"No you need to- "

"Wait no I wasn't talking to you." She walked out to the door frame then looked at me with a 'we will talk later' I smiled and continued to cook.

'Eggs. Easy.'

It took me 5 minutes and I finished cooking.

"Finished!" I yelled and Ben came running in.

"FOOD, FOOD, FOOD!!" I put the food on two plates.

I gave Ben his plate and set moms on the table and walked to the living room. I looked at the time and it was 7:30!

'I'M LATE!'

I ran to the door and yelled.

"SORRY MOM CAN'T WALK BEN TO SCHOOL! GOT TO GO!" I ran out the door slamming it on the way out.

I ran as fast as I could to school and as I ran I saw my friend Nicole run out of her house so I stopped.

"Hey Nicky! What you doing late." She looked at me.

"Angle? Your late too! Oh SHIT!!" She ran to me and grabbed my arm and started to run.

"Hey! I can run!" She let go and ran faster.

We made it to school at 7:53 and ran to our lockers and stuffed our backpacks it, then we ran away from each other and I went to my class. I opened the door and walked in and being the dumb person I am I tripped over nothing and fell on my face.

"Ooooh." Everybody looked at me and laughed.

"Ms. Blackwood?" I got up and looked at her.

"Y-Yes?"

"Your late."

'No SHIT!'

"I'm sorry Mrs. Wright." I looked down and walked to my seat at the back of the class and set my books on the floor and looked at the board.

"Pssst." I looked over and saw a girl with a pice of paper in her hand holding it out to me.

"Pass this to the girl over there." She pointed to a girl next to me.

I nodded and grabbed the paper then she quickly let go making it fall. I tried to pick it up then the teacher called my name.

"Ms. Blackwood? Are you passing notes?" She walked up to me.

"Um..." I dropped it and messed with my hands.

"Well. What does it say?"

"I don't know." She picked it up and unfolded it and read it out loud.

"Mr.s Wright is the worst teacher in the whole class!" She yelled and read the paper to herself.

"What?! I didn't-"

"Principles office NOW!" Mrs. Wright said and I nodded.

I got up and walked out the door to Mr. Troni's office, the last thing I heard from that girl was.

"She's a real NERD."

'I'm f ucked up now.'
