The face she came to love,
has cascaded into a waterfall of icy stillness
the face she came to love,
has gone away.
She can hardly speak,
he clasps her hand one last,
and begs death to let him say one last time,
how much he loves her,
but, no death replies you are too weak.
So the face she came to love,
merely smiles at her
and vows in his heart he will see his love again.
