so this is 1/3 paintings that i gave my mom for her birthday/christmas. its a selfportrait. OK SO my idea was like, to paint my mom, my lilsis and my mom as famous historical women: this is Madame Pompadour. My lilsis was painted as Marie Antoinette and mom was Queen Victoria of England. idk i liked the idea and ive discovered my love for painting people and faces and stuff like that. i think im gonna paint an arm next, to ya know, practice some realism realness. i like painting skin and faces and people cause its fun mixing the colors on the canvas and see it come to life and create expressions and um ye idk where i was going with this. ive always had an interest in drawing anatomy, particularly faces and face structure and expressions, but with painting i can give the drawings color and more life with only using paint and just building and layering and building. i used to hate painting and i SUCKED at it, but practicing helps. this turned out way longer than intended and kudos to u if you read it all i just wanna talk about my love for painting. ok thanks
