"Vroom", the car engine roared across the road. Chase was driving home from school. It was dark and cloudy that afternoon. "Thump", he stomped on the breaks. "What in the world?". He got out and walked to the front of the car. He gazed in shock. There was a dark foggy shadow that appeared to be an outline of a girl. He stood there in the middle of the road by himself, or so he thought.
