My eyes snapped open and I placed a hand on my cheek. Burning hot. I stumbled out of bed and walked into the door.
"Ouch!" I rubbed my forehead and went into the bathroom, keeping an eye out for more doors.
I splashed water on my face and came back to reality. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and couldn't recognise myself.
My blonde hair was sticking out to the sides, my usually energetic posture was slouched and my eyes were a dull blue, instead of the usual electric blue.
Of course, I had just woken up... But in the mornings my eyes aren't like this. I slapped my face gently, and focused on the day ahead. I was being irrational about this.
My life was boring. As simple as that. I usually try and make interesting things happen by overreacting at the slightest change.
I was putting on my school uniform when I realised it was Sunday. I took of my uniform looking around to check if anybody saw how stupid I was.
Then I realised my mum was at work and I didn't have any friends, so I was just overreacting again. I put on a dark purple shirt and a black jumper. I put on denim jeans and I put on a beanie.
A/N- I forgot to mention this was in the modern day Sooooo, yeah.
I rushed downstairs and took an apple out of the fridge. I walked outside and I saw a blur of white and red streak past.
I ran in the direction it was headed putting anything else out of my mind, which for a 16 year old, is pretty hard to do.
I ran all over the street. This 'thing' must be trying to get me of its tail. Not going to happen. The 'thing' came to a sudden stop.
I gasped as I realised it was a rabbit, a rather large one as well. It was standing on its hind legs sniffing the air with a... Wait, was that a... Waistcoat?
It was! The rabbit was wearing a sort of red waistcoat and seemed to be looking for something.
At that moment it shot between my legs and headed straight for my backyard.
"WAIT! Come back!" I yelled at it.
It dove through some bushes onto the other side of my fence.
I leaped over the fence, and looked around for the rabbit. I saw him in the corner (now on all fours) sniffing the ground like a dog.
I laughed at the sight and crept up on the rabbit. He sensed me coming and ran straight to an ancient oak tree.
"Your trapped now, rabbit!" I dove for the rabbit and landed on my stomach
I groaned and looked up in time to see a white tail disappear down a big hole on the side of the tree.
