Chapter 2

Close

"The last two days of high school." I said to myself. I was glad to almost be bully free. Bullying was the reason I wanted to be in Raiser High instead of Roseline High. And also because my friends were there too. I begged my dad to let me go to Raiser. "We don't have the money to take you a mile away from where we live. We need to pay for gas too." He said. Still not a reason. "Alexis' mom said that she could drive me. So did Ryan's. So did Mandy's. Why can't you just let them. They offered it!" I protested. "Sienna, it's too big of an offer. You'll still have all your friends." He continued "it's actually a great school." Lies. "Kids smoke weed and all that crap." I cried. "And how do you know that?" He asked

"Because I pass by that school everyday on my skateboard and I see kids in the back of the school they look about 13 and they are inhaling all of that."

"You are probably just seeing things, Sienna."

"What if they try to get me to do that."

"Would you?"

"No, but..."

"Alright. Now go clean your room or go outside."

"But dad.."

"Enough! Sienna."

"Uugghhh!!!"

Still two days before summer vacation. I was still furious. I DON'T WANT TO GO TO ROSELINE HIGH!!

He promised that he will drive me to Raiser High until I got my own car. He also said I wouldn't get a phone until I was sixteen. But I got one when I was 11 almost 12. I just wish I could go to Raiser to be with all of my friends. But, who knows.

As I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I also heard people shushing in the kitchen. I got on my robe, grabbed my metal baseball bat and tip-toed into the kitchen. I turned the corner and saw nothing. I walked closer towards the stove. "SURPRISE!!!" shouted my dad, my brother, Anne (my dads girlfriend) and Courtney (her 18 year old daughter). I was shocked. I swung my baseball bat and saw they had a cake. I then dropped the bat. I didn't know what it was for but if it has cake, I'm in! "What's going on?" I asked. "Haha, you're funny Sienna. It's your last day of school!" Anne said with smile. If they give me a cake for the last day of school, I wonder what they would do for my birthday next week! "Awe thanks you guys!" I said hugging all of them. I looked at the clock, "This was really nice of all of you, but I gotta get ready, it's 7:15, love you thank you." I ran to my room and slipped on my neon orange shirt and I put on my ripped jean shorts as i wore my favorite neon DC shoes. I braided the side of my hair and bobby pinned it to the side. Then I headed out the door, walking to school.
