Elena Black is Not a Slytherin

Moving to the Unknown

At the age of seven, Elena Oriana Sirius Black was having a cup of cocoa with her babysitter while her parents, Regulus and Oriana were off trying to destroy one of Lord Voldemort's horcruxes when they both were killed by it's power. Elena never heard of the news and before she knew it, her babysitting rushed her to pack and hop on her broomstick. They flew to King Cross Station and took the train the rest of the way. Elena was being transported to a somewhere unknown. She was brought to a temporary home in Hogsmeade for just one night. The room had charcoal walls and the bed sheets looked like ripped drapes. The floor creaked as Elena walked from the door to sit on the also creaky bed. She had a hard time getting on the thick mattress bed and once she climbed up, a weird looking creature with big pointy ears wearing just a cloth for clothes walked in. "What is your name" said Elena with her little shy voice. The creature just mumbled, then slowly and roughly said "Creature doesn't talk to little girls", then placed a night gown on the bed, "From master" and the creature walked out. The plump housekeeper with short cut  black hair then walked in, "Oh goodness me! I am sorry about creature. Now get your night gown on! We leave in the morning!" she said sternly before turning around and closing the door with force. Elena could hear her nagging to Creature and Creature just mumbling back to her.

Elena put her little night gown on and crawled under the large, heavy blankets and began to fall asleep. She had no idea what was happening and why she was moving to a new home or where her parents were. At about three o'clock in the morning, she heard a scream that sounded like the high pitched house keeper. Then her door slammed open and three masked strangers stood at the entrance of the door. The one standing in the middle walked up to the right side of her bed and she just stared at the black hooded mask and started breathing very heavy. The masked stranger began to scoop her up out of her bed and just before she could scream heard someone whisper something but everything was too fast for her to process and suddenly she was asleep! The hooded people quickly flew away as a cloud of black smoke travelled behind them. As they left the house they broke all the windows and one of them shot a fire spell through the window into the housekeeper's room.

After they landed in a large walkway surrounded by hedges, they opened the gate which was about 4 yards tall. Elena opened her eyes laying on a bed looking up at the many designs on the marble ceiling. She quickly sat up and took one breath before there was a cold, white hand over her mouth. It was a witch with yellow teeth, pale skin, and black crazy hair. Her dress was also black and had lots of ripped lace and different materials. Her unique high and scary voice spoke, "Elena Black" she clicked the end of "Bla-ck". Elena was a very intelligent girl for the age of seven and new not to scream because that would not end well. "Now, listen here, we are both girls. I just want to talk with you! And for God's sake, DON'T SCREAM!". Elena's heart started pounding faster and faster as the hand was removed. "Now lets do this professionally shall we? My name is Bellatrix Lestrange. Now your turn" said Bellatrix excitedly. Elena didn't speak. Bellatrix and her heard running down the hall. "Where is she?" said the voice from the hallway. "Draco! Come see your new step-sister!" she took the cheeks of Elena and pinched them "Isn't she just a flower! Tell him your name sweetie!". Elena tried to push words out of her mouth "M-m-my n-n-name I-I-is E-Elen-na" and she took a deep breath. A man with long blonde hair walked in the room with a cane that had a snake head on the handle. "Hello Elena. I am Lucius, your new Father. This is Draco, my son, and Bellatrix." he said slickly. "I'm your Auntie" whispered Bellatrix. A women walked into the room, "And this is your mother, Narcissa" added Lucius. "We will leave you be while you adjust to your new home, maybe Draco will give you a tour." said Narcissa calmly "Mom!" Draco complained.

The door closed slowly behind Bellatrix after she winked at Elena and the family walked out. Elena was scared. She didn't know what was going to happen or what was going on. She guessed that this was her new family 'Where is Mum and Dad?' she thought.
