I ran home happily.

I haven't been that close to someone for so long. I could feel the tears that starts coming out.

I covered my mouth to muffle the sobs.

I yanked the door open and went inside. Then to my room, set my bookbag down and laid on my bed.

"Hahh," I panted."Hahah."

I laughed after I caught my breath.

I got up from my bed finally, and got on my homework. Halfway through, my mom called for dinner.

Tonight's dinner was beef stew in potatoes and carrots, with miso soup and rice.

"Itadakimasu!" Us three said before digging in.

It was good, especially the beef stew. I loved the potatoes.

"Ohh, you seem different today," dad said."Did something happen?"

"Heh," I smiled."I guess. Well, I had a small conversation with someone from my class."

"Who? Boy or girl?" Mom asked excitely.

"Umm...boy," I blushed.

I could still feel his hand on my shoulder. I've never been that close to someone other than my parents.

"Wow, what does he look like? Is he smart? What are his grades? Does he like you?" Mom asked.

"Mom, its nothing like that," I said, blushing.

Liking me? That's impossible.

"We're just classmates." I continued.

"Hmm," dad appeared to be thinking."(Y/n)."

He stared intensely at me, I stared back nervously.

"Don't ever go with a guuuyy," dad whined.

"O-Okay, dad, I won't." I said."Er, wait! I can't help it if I do."

And we laughed.

Next day.....

I again walked alone to school.

I then felt a slap on my back.

It was Tsukishima again.

"Hey," he then walked away.

Beside him was also a tall guy, but not any taller than him.

Tsukishima is the tallest....for me.

No, no! What am I thinking this time?

DING, DOONG~

Got ready for the day, yeah.

And the cycle repeats.

Stand up, bow, sit. Now attendance, and the, here's.

Its the same as usual, but why does it feel so different? Off to the corners of my eyes, I feel like I'm being stared.

"Alright, we'll be starting on a presentation," sensei said.

What? What?! WHAAT?!

No! No!

Ba-thump, ba-thump, ba-thump....

Ugh, screw it. I'll pull through this.

"You will choose a partner."

Partners now?!

My stomach started flipping around, and I felt like throwing up. And when I almost did, I bravely asked to go to the infirmary.
