To be honest..... i want both Mikey and Jamal.

I want both of their love.

But i get this feeling when i'm with Jamal that i don't get with Mikey.

It's like an exciting and thrilling feeling..

When the song was finished, everyone applauded.

I bowed and walked over to where Sway was going to interview me.

I sat down as he began to speak.

"Wow. That was Jade Brooks everybody with her new song, "XO". It's good to have you here Jade."

"It's good to be here. Thank you for having me." i reply.

He then started asking me a multitude of questions about how i got to Empire, my life before Empire, my music, etc.

"So what's with you and Jamal? I sense a little something going on between y'all. Especially after that song y'all did together at Leviticus. What's going on between you two?" he asks out of the blue.

Uhh...

"Uh. I don't know what your talking about." i say playing dumb.

"Come on Jade stop playin'. You know what I'm talking about."

"I mean.... Jamal and i are good friends. We help out each other and are always there for each other and everything. But... we're just friends." i say truthfully.

"But y'all dig each other tho right?" he asks.

I laugh.

"I am currently in a relationship." i say so he could drop the subject.

"Oh. Ok. I should've known."

After the interview, i went with Cookie back to Empire.

"You know Luscious is planning on doing a legacy album with him, Jamal, and Hakeem on it with me producing it." she says as we get in the elevator.

"Oh! Wow that's so great." i say smiling.

"Yeah. He's finally getting it in his head that this is his real family and not that fake ass Halle Berry." Cookie says referring to Anika.

I laugh.

"You really don't like her." i state still giggling.

"I don't like anything or anyone  that gets in the way of what i want..." she says as she walks out of the elevator.

I follow behind her.
That is until i see Jamal.

"Hey Jamal!" i say excitedly as i hug him around his neck.

"Hey Jade." he says smiling as he places his hands on my lower back, giving me tingles.

When we pull away i see Cookie no where in sight.
