I walk in ready for a new term. I hug everyone and theres chatters and giggles but the whole world goes blank when he comes down the stairs. His eyes, so dreamy. His hair, perfect, His smile, the one he's using now. I can't help myself. I run over to him.
"Jerome!" I say wrapping my arms around his neck, His arms around my waist.
Mara coughs a quick Eck Hem and we let go. We all gather in the sitting room.
"So", I say, getting something out of my bag, "I got this DVD yesterday, who wants to watch?".
"I hate that kind of movie".
"Not my kind of movie".
"Same here"
"same".
"I'm with them".
"I love that movie". I smile.
"looks like its just me and Jerome then", I say and he smiles. We go up to my room and I open my laptop, slipping the DVD in .The movie started and we sat on the floor by my bed.
"Ahh!" I scream as a spooky bit comes on.
Jerome hugs me and I feel a strange feeling.
Jerome's POV
I have never felt this feeling. Not with Mara. I feel a complete different feeling when I hold Amber then when I hug Mara.
We carry on watching the movie, Amber in my arms. I don't know what this feeling is?
The next day I come into the kitchen.
"Hey Ambs, I have the sequel here", I say, desperate to spend more time with her. Why?
"Great". I walk over to her where she's writing in her notepad. I wonder what shes writing about. She seems to close it whenever I come over.
So I follow her into her room and listen at the door, she reads from her notebook while singing. I never knew she could sing.
She sings:
