airports
people's faces eager to greet the person they're flying to see
eager, yet exhausted
exhausted from their trip
ready to fly home, or
exhausted from waking up so early to catch their flight;
but still,
eager.
unfamiliar faces rushing by;
boarding planes;
hugging loved ones before leaving on a trip of their own;
the buzz of voices somehow echoing through the building;
it's all so confusing
how everybody can be so exhausted,
yet still so eager？
eager to board a plane and leave their past behind;
eager to arrive at their hotel;
eager to come home to their anxious families;
eager . . .
