Chapter 27: Gia

Kim's p.o.v
Jared and I want to adopt Gia. I would love to have her in our family.
Me:"Gia. What's your last name?"
Gia:"Watson."
Me:"that's wonderful."
Gia:"thanks."
Me:"Gia want to help me clean up the kitchen a bit?"
Gia:"yes I'd love to. No ones ever asked me for help."
Me:"well we want you in our family."
Gia hugged me send I hugged her back.
Me:"Gia we should get to know each other."
Gia:"yea we should."
Me:'how about we go to lunch tomorrow."
Gia:"yea sure."
She helped me clean the kitchen. Gia is a beautiful girl. I'd love for her to be my daughter. She did dishes, cleaned off the counters.
I swept and mopped the kitchen
Me:"Gia do you want to shower?"
Gia:"yea I hate going to the shelters."
Me:"you know what it's only eight o'clock lets go to target real quick and get you some stuff."
Gia:"o-ok."
We got our coats on. Hers was worn out.
We got my keys she wallet.
We were driving to target and she was stunned.
Me:"what's wrong?"
Gia:"I haven't been in a car this nice before."
Me:"well it is nice and I'm glad you like it."
She smiled.
We arrived at target.
Me:"ok let's get you pajamas, underwear, and some clothes."
Gia:"I'm going to need a new toothbrush."
Me:"we have a pack at home we will give you one."
She smiled.
We bought her pajamas, and a couple pairs of clothes, and to be honest she needs new shoes."
Me:"how about new shoes to."
Gia:"what's wrong with my shoes."
Me:"they seem to big fir you and they are worn out."
She looked down and scratched the back of her neck.
Me:"it's ok there's shoes over her we can look at."
We looked at the cheap shoes and she got black vans.
We were finished and it was nine fifteen.
I paid for the items and we went back home.
Gia thanked me and she teared up.
Me:"here's a towel go take a shower."
She went to the bathroom to take a shower.
I set up purple bed sheets and a white blanket.
I out a red toothbrush on the desk of the blank room.
Before she came in I put purple pillowcases also.
It looked good and she would sleep here for awhile.
She came out of the shower and got ready for bed.
She then went back to the bathroom and brushed her teeth.
I French braided her hair.
She watched tv for a little bit.
She yawned and said she was going to bed.
She thanked me again and closed the bedroom door upstairs.
I went upstairs for bed.
Me:"Jared she's a good girl I like her."
Jared:"I'm glad."
I smiled and we went under the covers and drifted to sleep.

I woke up and it was Friday.
I woke up at seven and got dressed in sweats and a shirt. I put my hair up and put shoes on and left.
It was pouring to I grabbed a sweater.
I ran out and got in My car.
I was listening to country on the radio.
I got to there house and waited.
They came out five minutes later.
Bryan and Payton got in.
Me:"how is your guys morning."
Payton:"good. Except when Bryan tried to take the last of the cereal.
Bryan:"hey be lucky I didn't."
Payton:"you didn't be ages I karate chopped you arm. And you surprisingly dud t get mad."
Bryan:"well that's because I have control."
Payton scoffed.
I laughed.
When we arrived at the school Ito.d them to have a great day and I'll pick them up later.
I left back home to fall asleep and wake up later. Friday is my day off and I'm so relieved.
And that means I get to take Gia places.
I checked on her and she looked peaceful.
I went to my room and cuddled into Jared's warm body.

I woke up and it was ten fifty.
I went to make breakfast.
I decided to make scrambled eggs and bacon.
I seen Gia co e I to the kitchen. And she had her new clothes on with her shoes on to.
And her hair wasn't wavy curls.
Me:"good morning Gia, you look beautiful."
Gia smiled.
Gia:"thanks. What's for breakfast."
Me:"scrambled eggs and bacon."
Gia made a face.
Me:"what's wrong?"
Gia:"I'm elergic to eggs."
Me:"oh my gosh I'm so sorry I'll only make two plates and I'll make you so-"
Gia laughed.
Gia:"Kim I'm just kidding.."
Me:"oh don't scare me like that."
I let her eat while I got ready.
I came downstairs and jared was eating and talking to Gia.
I came in and ate my breakfast also.
Gia:"so are we still going shopping?"
Me:"yes we are."
Gia:"cool with me!!" She yelled jumping up out of her chair.
She put her plate in the sink and went upstairs.
Gia:"I'm going to brush my teeth."
Jared:"we're not stopping you!"
I heard her chuckle.
Me:"ok I'm going to take her shopping so... Yea."
Jared:"ok cool your moms a lawyer so I'm going to talk to her."
Me:"salut adopting Gia."
Jared:"yea."
Me:"good luck."
I got up put my dish in the sink.
Gia came downstairs in the jacket she was wearing.
Me:"Gia don't wear that jacket."
Gia:"how come?"
Me:"it's torn and ugly I'll get you a new one."
She smiled and put it in the trash.
We ran outside and got in the Yukon.
We drove to the mall and went inside justice.
She tried on a lot of outfits.
She tried on eight so far.
She liked two outfits and put them on my lap.
I smiled at her and seen how happy she was.
She smiled when she seen she found another perfect outfit.
Gia:"I think three outfits is enough."
Me:"nope we got more stuff to get for you. Let's pay for this stipulated and get more clothes."
Gia was going to protest but I told her that I insisted.
I payed for the. Clothes and we walked out.
We went to Aeropostale and she got jeans and a couple of shirts.
We then went to foot locker and bought her converse.
We went to another shoe store and bought her wedges and other heels.
Gia:"thank you so much for this stuff. I appreciate it."
Me:"it's no problem."
We headed out of the store and she was super happy.
We decided to go eat at subway.
Me:"so Gia how old are you."
Gia:"I just turned 16 on August."
Me:"oh that's awesome."
Gia:"I'm smart. I get straight A's in all my classes, I sing, and I draw."
Me:"that's awesome."
Gia:"yea."
Me:"so what day were you born full date."
Gia:"August 16th 1999."
Me:"hm ok cool."
Gia:"yea I like some foods and I like some foods."
Me:"what are you elergic to?"
Gia:"bananas, avocados, jelly, onions and I'm elergic to these chez chips called muddy buddy's."
Me:"oh ok cool got it."
Gia:"yea this is the best day I could ever ask for."
Me:"I'm glad."
