That other exception

Part 4

I kept eye contact with Lui but reached to the side and grabbed hold of Evan's arm as he moved passed me to get to the bathroom, before he could react I pulled him backwards so that he'd lose his balance, I caught him as he fell backwards his hands instinctively grabbing my shoulders to save himself from falling on his ass. I kissed him the same time he gasped in surprise at being pulled backward, my tongue flicked across his lower lip quickly before we both froze, eyes open and looking at each other, I knew Evan was going to have something to say about this later when we were alone but right at this moment I was enjoying the only time I was able to touch him in front of the guys and not trigger their suspicions.  Evan started looking around the room as if he was waiting for something to be over, Lui counted down the last few seconds and I pulled Evan back up so that he was standing in the same direction he'd been moving when I grabbed him.  Everyone was watching his reaction, he tugged the bottom of his shirt to straighten it then looked over his shoulder at me and narrowed his eyes.

"Call me" he then continued his trip to the bathroom.

"later" I chuckled along with the others as he closed the bathroom door, Cartoonz wrapped his arm around my throat and pulled me back into a brotherly hug, an indication of how much he'd had to drink, he was a huggy drunk. The rest of the gang all started moving around getting drinks or looking out of the window.  Nogla was creeping closer to the closet door trying to hear what Tyler and Mini where doing. "Nogla...leave them alone" complained as I pulled Cartoonz arm away from my throat so I could breathe.

"I just want to make sure they aren't just talking" he edged a bit closer

"You just want to get off on hearing your friends making out" Cartoonz accused and I couldn't help but laugh at the guilty look that flashed across Nogla's face, he moved back into the room and sat on the end of the bed.

Evan re-joined us a few minutes later and we decided it was time to let the guys out of the closet, Lui made it to the door before anyone else and slide it open to reveal Tyler holding Mini in an approximation to a Dip kiss pose, similar to what I'd had Evan in a little while ago.  Tyler was squinting at the light but Mini seemed to be hiding his face in Tyler's shoulder.

"awww such a romantic pose" Nogla cooed making Mini look back at us but still seem to be clinging to Tyler like he was some kind of comfort blanket.

"Shut the fuck up and untangle my feet please" Mini demanded, it was then that I noticed that his feet were tangled in the straps to a bag on the floor "I hate to think what I'm doing to Tyler's back"

"it's what your doing to his front that we're more interested in" Lui chuckled as he knelt down to untie Mini.

"hanging on so he doesn't fall over" Tyler stated, I focused on Tyler for a moment and noticed a slight flush of colour to his face, when he looked at Mini his eyes seemed to linger for a second longer than it should.

"Damn Mini how did you even do that?"

"I don't know what did I do?" Mini whined with one of his comical tones he used in his video's

"It's like you've braided them around your ankles" Lui sounded baffled as he tugged on the straps "where you dancing or something?"

"I don't know...just help me please" Mini whined as he readjusted his grip on Tyler which pulled him closer to him. 

"Hang on...Lui move" Tyler seemed to be picking up on Mini's discomfort and had decided to do something about it.  "Mini hold onto me and let me take your weight for a second"  Even though Mini looked suspicious of what was going to happen he did what he was told and put his trust in Tyler,  Tyler quickly moved out of the closet making us all step back, he swung Mini up into the air and into a bridal style hold.  I stifled a chuckle as I Mini scream, pull his legs up to his chest and cling to Tyler's shoulders as he felt himself launched upwards.  it took him a few moments to realise he was safe and not about to hit the floor.

"you asshole put me down!" he demanded but was still hanging onto Tyler.

"Ok" Tyler did one of those fake drop pranks making Mini squeal with and swear under his breath as he clung onto Tyler again.  We were all laughing as Tyler put Mini down on the bed and reluctantly moved away.  Lui moved in again to untangle the straps from Mini's ankles again.

"Lui hold up"  Nogla was almost singing as Lui stopped and looked over his shoulder at him. "Come on show us...the evidence" Nogla smiled at Mini.

I watched Mini pull a face as everyone moved in closer.  Lui blocked our view by standing up "oh yeah I forgot about that" he leant forward a bit still blocking the rest of us "Oh my god Tyler" he giggled and moved so we could see Mini holding the neck of his t-shirt to one side and revealing an new and extremely dark red hickey only a centimetre or two from where his shoulder met his neck.  I looked over at Tyler who looked a little guilty but also pleased with the mark he'd left on Mini.

"that's impressive" Brock stated stiffly as if trying not to laugh

"Over protective and possessive are you two dating and forgot to tell us" Nogla asked with some suspicion in his voice. 

This was why Evan and I had been hiding it for so long, all the comments and innuendo, Being so far apart all the time it would of continually reminded us that we weren't together and what we were missing out on.

Mini covered the mark with his hand and shot an accusing look at Tyler, but I'd seen something I thought shouldn't of been there for two friends marking each other, if it was what I'd thought it was these two where wanting more from each other than just friendship. "are those teeth marks?" I asked absentmindedly as I stepped forward and pulled mini's hand away, I was right, they were definitely teeth marks, I never knew Tyler was such an aggressive dominant but from how Mini was reacting he hadn't actually hurt him which made me relax a little "Wow ok...so uh...lets untangle mini's feet" I knelt down with Lui and between us we had Mini untangled within a few minutes. The atmosphere was pretty awkward so we started conversations over what we were all comfortable with such as games and schedules.   After an hour or so people started heading off to bed, it was pretty late.  Eventually leaving Myself and Evan being the only ones left in the room.  Evan had fallen asleep in the chair by the window and I was loathed to wake him up, I wanted him to have some sleep before I got him into bed.

"you want me to give you a hand getting him back to your room?" Tyler offered but I knew it wasn't needed.

"Nah he's not as drunk as you think he is" in truth Evan had only had one or two drinks, he rarely drank alcohol at all.  I noticed Mini stagger to the dresser and grab a bottle, but the way he was moving didn't seem quite right for someone who was meant to be drunk, was he faking getting drunk so that he had an excuse for his behaviour? I looked back at Tyler and smirked "just tired...and besides your going to have your hands full" I pointed over his shoulder at Mini.

"Damn it Mini" he complained and crossed the room to take the bottle off of Mini.  I watched as he wrapped and arm around Mini's waist and all but tucked him under his arm, even though Mini made a good effort at looking like he was struggling against Tyler's hold he wasn't really getting anywhere.

"Noooo...give it back" Mini whined reaching for the bottle, I had to give him credit, it was one way to get and keep Tyler's attention.

"you two make a cute couple" I chuckle waiting to see what their reaction was going to be to being called a couple.

"you too Delirious" Mini growled which shocked me a little, Had they really noticed that Evan and I had a thing?

"so you and Ev' huh...knew you where closer than you let on" Tyler was smirking which meant I had jus confirmed what he thought.  I groan inwardly, now I was going to have to explain this to Evan and hope they kept it to themselves. I moved over to Evan and shook his shoulder "Ev' wake up it's time I got you to bed" I guess this was our que to leave.  Evan slowly woke up and looked up at me with a tired smile "Tyler and Mini know" I told him and waited for the fed up mildly annoyed look in his eyes, He slowly stretched and looked over to Mini and Tyler. 

"I kind of guessed that Tyler knew...he's been giving me looks all night" Evan got to his feet and straightened his clothes, but something about him wasn't right, it was like something was missing and I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. I mean I had my suspicions but I needed more proof before I could say for sure.
