She strapped on her favorite pair of roller skates and flew out the door she wouldn’t be hindered by her disabilities anymore. For this was her world. With the rush of wind on her face she knew she was home. The blades picked up speed as she effortlessly swung her hips to and fro. Her desires were no longer unavailable to her in this world of blurred speed she was whoever she wanted to be no more of her body bullying her to madness. She would not let her fear her emotion her weakness in she controlled everything. Spinning and spinning she fell into the unknown where there was love and peace and she could feel God holding her in his mighty hands only here only when it was quite and fast could she truly experience what God did for her. Deafness controlled so much of her life she can’t live without feeling empty and alone. So many people surrounding her and yet no one notices the 5 foot girl that she was her life mattered to no one but the creator and with this knowledge she was able to live and truly understand the meaning of life but it didn’t stop the longing in her heart to be known and noticed and not for her disability. She longed for a love that could kiss her hearing and make it better but alas she knew that if she heard she would be ashamed of what her fellow humans would say. There wouldn’t be love there would be hatred floating from lip to lip. She longed to save humanity from this hatred and show them love but there was no way to communicate the love in her heart. She was hopeless except in this world she showed the earth how she can love something so passionately. With tears in her eyes she looked up at the crowd as the cheered for her not knowing there noise made no impact on this lonely shell of a girl. Her rank was placed and as she still felt like nothing she did mattered in this cruel land she won gold solely on her pure joy from the sport.
