I'm Waiting Here - Part 26

{The next day}

{Sophia's Pov}

I woke up at 8am to my alarm clock. I knew it was quite early but we needed to get some dresses and accessories. Being girls, I knew we would take a long time. And we had the spa session I’d booked yesterday at 3pm as well.

I stretched and rolled over to turn my alarm off. I then got up and searched through my wardrobe for some clothes. I found some and threw it all on. Then I sat down and logged into Twitter. My followers had gone up a lot since Jay had announced last week that we were together. I was happy that I didn't get too much hate. It was just pathetic tweets that I actually laughed at.

I no longer took any hate of any kind harshly. Since I was 13, seeing what devastation became of my Dad because of similar types of comments, I brainwashed myself into not tolerating them, and helping others to get to the stage I’m at.

A tweet from Nathan came up in my feed.

'And this beautiful girl is @LoS. Love youu! :) xxx'

It was cute. I clicked on the picture and it was from yesterday of Lola in the middle of the ice rink. I remembered that. I tweeted him back.

'@NathanTheWanted @LoS Awh u soppy git. Just remember, u hurt her, and we'll hurt u! :P x'

I then grabbed an apple from my bag and two Nature Valley bars. I ate mine as I got ready. I then skipped out of my room and woke up the other girls. Lola wouldn't wake up.

'Get up!' I cried at her.

'No,' she said, her voice muffled by her pillow.

'Come on! We need to get you ready for your boyfriend tonight!' I chirped.

'I don't have a fucking boyfriend. Go away!' she cried back. I had learnt by now that she was always pissed in the morning ever since. It was quite sad really.

I then pulled the covers off her and she slowly got up and crossed her arms. I then threw my second Nature Valley bar at her.

'Eat this once you're dressed,' I said.

'I'm not hungry,' she replied. I groaned.

'I don't care. You're starting to get too thin and I don't want that to happen to my best friend so eat it,' I said and left the room.

About an hour later, we were waiting outside for Lola. She finally came out, looking pissed, but not as pissed as before.

'Did you eat?' I asked her. She nodded.

'Good,' I said, even though I knew full well that she could be lying; I didn’t want to take it any further though. We then started to walk down to the village. I caught up with Lola on the way.

'Hey! I want to show you something,' I told her and went on Twitter to Nathan's tweet. I showed it to her. She read it and started to smile. Her eyes started to slightly twinkle.

'He really wrote that about me?' she asked me. I nodded. She smiled and got out her phone. Probably to tweet him back.

'Told you he loved you,' I said. She smiled.

'Hmm... Yes but I seem to remember that it was you who interrupted us yesterday?' she said. I laughed.

'I'm sorry! I told you that already!' I cried. She laughed.

'It's fine... Besides, I'm kinda glad we didn't,' she said. I gasped, shocked a little.

'Why!?' I asked her.

'Not in a bad way! It's just the same thing happened in Lanzarote and I think it'll make it more special and us more sure of it if we wait. As well as the fact after this I'm not going to see him again for 3 years...' she said.

'Phew! I thought you meant you didn't like him!' I exhaled, reviled. She laughed.

'No! Never anything like that! Course not! You know well how much I like him!' she said. I raised my eyebrows.

'Like?'

‘Yes like! It’s too early for love…' she trailed off. We laughed as we arrived to the village.

'Okay. Let's start. We need a dress each, shoes and hair stuff?' I asked the girls. They nodded. So we started down the street and went into a small boutique. It had rows of beautiful dresses and was lightly decorated with fairy lights. It was a cute grotto.

'Okay, let's go!' I said and we walked to the first row and started.
