Allow me to introduce myself as Ashleigh, the goddess that was sent down from Mt. Olympus by my mom, Aphrodite, to teach all of my bratty mortal half sisters life lessons. Fun job, right? Ha. I had to dress in a ratty outfit, mess up and dye my golden hair the color of dishwater, and remove all traces of makeup. Iris brought me down a rainbow right at Camp Half-Blood's gates.

I walked into camp and waved at Chiron. He chuckled, because he knew why I was there.

I walked into the Aphrodite cabin to an argument. "Stop it, Drew!" A girl yelled.

"Shut it, Lacey. Rebecca had toilet duty and she knew it. Rebecca, put on the shoes. Now." said a pretty girl I assumed was Drew. I heard the charmspeak in her voice. The brunette Rebecca chick slid on huge, clunky white nurse shoes. The girls didn't see me till now.

"Hey." I said.

They stared. Drew said, "I think you have the wrong cabin, hun. Who's kid are you? Nemesis? Hermes?"

"Actually, I'm... Uh this is the right um cabin Aphrodite is actually like my mom." I did my best to sound stupid.

"Omigods, go play your ugly tricks somewhere else." Drew snorted.

"Drew, she's being truthful I think..." Lacey whispered. "Piper would believe her."

"Piper is busy saving the world. I am in charge!"

"Chiron will tell you. Uh, it's the truth." I stated.

"Whatever. I have more important things to do." With that and a flip of her hair, she flounced out of the cabin.

"So, you have any open bunks for me?" I asked the other cabin members. They just walked out of the cabin, same as Drew. Only Rebecca and Lacey remained.

"That one is empty." Lacey pointed to a bunk at the end of the row. I set my mini suitcase full of nothing on it.

"Take no offense to this, but you don't really look like a child of Aphrodite. None if us have glasses or braces or zits like you." said Nurse Shoe Girl Rebecca.

"I know. It's okay."

"You're pretty though," Lacey lied. "Whats your name?"

I give a toothy and brace-y smile. "Ashleigh." I said truthfully.

...

"Bye, Train Tracks. Oh, and don't go outside. You might give someone an ulcer." Drew sneered at me when she finished her hour long makeup routine. She walks out the door, with the others following.

They yell insults like, "Poser!" "Your hair is like soo oily!" And "go hang with the Hephaestus cabin. They're all just as ugly as you!" And Lacey and Rebecca follow but don't call me names.

...

An hour or so later, Chiron dropped by. "Ashleigh, dinnertime! Its pizza night."

"Not as good as ambrosia, but close," I moaned.

"You'll be back in Heaven soon, I think." He said.

At dinner, the pizza was very good, actually. Nobody dared to talk to me, so I made the first move. "So, Drew, why arent you eating the pizza? Don't tell me you're anorexic."

Drew whirled around to look at me. "Seriously?! You really dare to say that? You saw the Shoes of Shame Rebecca was wearing. You wanna be next?"

"They would go with this shirt pretty well. Maybe not with yours, though," I mused. "Too much pink."

"Really. Do you think that." She said casually. Behind her, Lacey was rapidly shaking her head.

"Yeah, but they match your ugly personality." I matched her nonchalant tone.

"Scuze me?!" She jumped up.

"You heard me."

Screaming in rage, she chucked her pizza at me, and it slid down my shirt, leaving a trail of red sauce. Everyone was still. Chiron stood.

"Drew!" He yelled, and she bolted. I plucked the pizza off my lap and set it down on her empty plate.

"What a waste of a good pizza." I sighed.

...

I didnt go to the campfire. I trekked back to our cabin and made my bed over and over.

"Hey mom." I said. "Im going to do the reveal soon, when the rest come back. Im going to change now. You were right, your daughters do need to learn a lesson."

I changed to my goddess form. My long golden curls returned, my Grecian dress, my brilliantly beautiful face, my 20/20 vision and my straight teeth. I stood still. The door swung open.

"So, Tansy is on vacuum duty, and..." Drew was saying, but she stopped in her tracks. "Who are you, goddess?" She asked.

I smiled a megawatt goddess grin. "My name is Ashleigh, and you have been a very bad girl."

"What?" Drew faltered. "Ashleigh? Ugly Ashleigh? Is like, a goddess?"

I laughed. "Right. Let us say I am not proud to have you as a mortal half-sister. Our mother, Aphrodite, has sent me to teach you this lesson. Do not be rude to anyone. They could be a goddess in disguise." I winked. The other Aphrodite girls just stood there. "Oh, and Piper is your new cabin counselor, just an FYI. Oh, and Lacey?"

Lacey blinked. "Yes?"

"I'll remember you. Iris message me sometime. You too, Rebecca."

Hey, speaking of...

"IRIS!" I yelled.

Iris transformed in a shimmer of rainbows next to me.

"Jeez, you don't have to yell. Come on!" Iris exclaimed. I grabbed her hand and we reappeared on Mt. Olympus.

Aphrodite stood in the throne room, gazing at a mirror intently.

"Hey, mom!" I said.

She put a finger to her lips and waved me over. She was watching a vision of the Aphrodite cabin. They were talking quietly in their bunks. There was no sign of Drew.

The vision dimmed. "Ashleigh, if Piper and her friends do manage to save the world, she will want to meet you." Aphrodite said.

"I really want to meet her too."

"Oh, and Austin is waiting for you. He is with the Muses."

Austin?! My boyfriend slash minor god of hunkiness? YAY!

"Thanks, mom!" With that, I skip into the heaven that is Mount Olympus.
