" Yo, babe you gotta get up ... Jean wouldn't want you doing this . Come on Mari, get up ." I tried getting her up, she wouldn't budge.
" I can't believe he's gone ... I didn't get a chance to say goodbye Jerome , I didn't get the chance.... " She said softly, with tears rolling down her cheeks.
" It's alright baby, come on, just get up... Jean will forever be here, in your heart, in everybody heart honestly, please, get up. " I begged.
She sighed then got up & went into the bathroom to freshen up.
" Babe, my mom wants us at dinner tonight, so be ready please. " I yelled.
"Boy, I hear you .. " She yelled back. I smiled.
Glad I got her out of bed.

It's been 2 months since Jean passed. The worst 2 months of my entire life at that .
I lost my bestfriend of so many years, & he's never coming back . Never .
I have abandoned everyone, even my son & I feel horrible for that. Jabari is 4 & a half months now, he's about to be 5 months next week . Jerome has been there for me through this whole thing & I thank & love him for that.
So, today he is taking me out to have some fun, to cheer me up.
" You ready ? " He asked as he got into the driver seat.
" Yup " I replied.
3 Hours Later - FunZone
" Jerome you bumped the back of my kart yo, you cheated ! " I said as we got off the go karts.
" Cause yo ass was moving to slow, now you know why I don't let you drive . " He said laughing loudly, I don't drive slow ... I just obey the signs :(((
I just walked away from him.
" Baby, babe, I'm sorry ! You drive fast like a turtle ! " He was full blown out laughing ... I don't find this funny

I'm guessing after his laughing session he found me.

" If I get the most tickets, you gotta give me sex every single day, anytime I want, & anywhere. If you win, anything you want. " He said.

" Yeah, so ... about that sex.. " Jerome said with a cocky smirk on his face.
" Let's go jerome, it's 7, gotta be at Momma house by 8:30 ! " He laughed & then we walked out & got into the car.
Momma Claire House ~ 9:00 P.M.
" Jerome, you made us late asshole ! " I said getting out of the car fixing my shirt.
" Hey, I said anytime, anywhere. " He said smirking like a fool.
" Shut up. " I said .
" You two are late, why ? " Momma Claire came out the house saying .
" Mari took so long to get ready Momma , makes no since. " Jerome said while shaking his head. Momma Claire just laughed.
" Come on baby, I need you to slay these double eggs like you always do !" She said & pulled me to the kitchen.
" Baby, I'm back here with the guys if you need me." Jerome said & kissed me then walked to the back . Time to cook.
Dinner ~
" I heard about your friend, im so sorry for your lost. " Jerome's cousin Loretta said. I smiled a little.
" Thanks, he's in a better place now. " I said softly, but enough so she could hear me.
" Uh, excuse me everyone.. but I wanna say something. " Jerome said as he stood up . Everyone got quiet.
While he was talking I looked around & I looked at the corner & saw Jean with a white dress on & a halo. He looked so handsome.
He smiled at me then winked & Went away ...
"....... Amari Jackson, will you marry me ? " I saw Jerome on one knee infront of me.
" W-what ? Jerome .. omg, yes ! " I said & hugged him tight asf, he slid this big, no huge ring on my finger... everyone was clapping & laughing saying congrats.
I'm getting married ..

We were now at home, Jerome Was sleep after we had about 5 rounds... he deserved it .
I walked into the bathroom & shut the door.
" I love you Jean, that was our lil warning wink huh ? " I felt a big brush of air come my way.
He was here with me, love you Jean & thank you
