Chapter 1:
"Julie!!!" Screamed my best friend Jenson.
I laughed turning around to face him. K
"What do you want nerd?"
He chuckled. "Why do I call you my best friend?" He laughed jumping out of his truck as he approached me.
I smiled. "Because I'm great, and because I'm your sister from another mister, because we're Twins-" he cuts me off.
He shook his head. "It's pouring cats and dogs Julie, yet here you are dancing in the rain." He paused. "Your mother is gonna flip when you go back inside all wet. And probably force you to dry off first." He told me knowing my mother very well.
I shrugged as I spun around.
"Life is too short Jenson." I smiled.
He rolled his eyes. " Jules, you need to be careful, you can't handle so much, and you know that."
I frowned. "Why must you bring that up? I am perfectly okay right now, and you're just killing my vibe." I stopped spinning to face him.
He sighed. "I'm just worri-"
I cut him off. "I know." I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair. "But look," I smiled. "Everything's fine right now." I tried to reason.
He sighed. "Let's just dance in the rain for fun times."
I smiled reaching over to punch his shoulder. "There ya go!!" I laughed.
He frowned. "Jules, I told you; you're boney which means whenever you hit me, it hurts. A LOT!" He told me as he rubbed his shoulder.
I put my hands on my hips. "Ah, quit being such a baby. Mom would not agree." I wink at him as we both engulfed in laughter.
He laughed. "How about we get out of this rain and go watch a movie?"
"What movie?" I ask amused.
He grinned. "Star Wars."
"As long as it's not episode three." I frowned.
He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Cmon Jules, that's your favorite one."
I frowned as we entered my house. "So? It's such heartache for me."
"You're gonna break her!" My father laughs.
Jenson lowered me down. "How could I break my favorite twin sister?"
I punch him the shoulder. "I'm your only twin sister nerd."
He rolled his eyes as my mother brought us two towels. "Stay here until you're both dried off some." My mother laughed as Jenson shook his hair like a wet dog.
I attempted to dry myself off with the towel with no avail. "This isn't gonna work mom. Can I just run to the shower and get dried off?"
"Nope." My mother chuckled. "You wanted to go dance in the rain remember sweetheart?" My father jumps in.
I frown. "But daddy, you-"
My father shook his head. "Julie, you know the consequences of your actions." He smirks.
I sigh continuing to dry off.
"Jenson," my mother began. "You can go ahead and use Julie's bathroom to wash up." She winked at him as I jerked my head up in disbelief.
"Thank you mother." He laughed at my expression before kissing my mothers cheek and running to my room and most likely into my bathroom.
"How is that fair?" I whined as soon as Jenson disappeared. "You treat my twin better than me." I pout.
