Into the Skin

I'm looking between the grey and green,

behind the hazel streams of pain and darkness,

louder I pray, singing slowly losing hours,

Like angels, I sink my prayers into your skin

.

As the sunrise rises I build towers

of prayers breathing pillows and clouds for you.

To keep you close to the beads and sweat

of my heart, oh how I remember you.

How I remember you.

How I remember you

As I wait for you, in the dark windows of your eyes,

I hold your hand and slowly release you into the night.
