She sat in the purple water that was colored by a bath bomb and traced her finger along the scars and fresh cuts on her hips wondering how things got this bad. Her mother was in bed in the next room over recovering from a surgery that had just been a day before. The time was 9:45pm and everyone was asleep but Sadie sat alone in the bathtub with nothing but her thoughts to consume her. To explain everything I'd have to start from the beginning. Sadie has had depression since the age of 8, she tried to kill herself in the 6th grade because she felt unwanted. She started to self harm and hid it away from the world. Everyone in a while the cuts would be so bad that people would notice and ask what happened so she became quick to tell a lie. It was 2014 when Sadie thought she had fallen in love with a boy named Asher. Asher was sweet and cute and very upfront about the things he said but only with people he was comfortable with. Sadie had just gotten out of a long relationship 3 months before she started dating Asher and he helped her threw things when she was sad or upset. Asher was Sadie's best guy friend and Sadie was Asher's best girl friend. Sadie had started to like Asher even before she broke up with her ex, Jai, but would never admit to that. The first time Sadie and Asher held hands, Asher put a dime in her hand and asked her to hold it for him but held her hand in the process. They weren't dating yet, they were just very flirty with each other. When the day of homecoming came around Sadie went with her friend Callie and Asher went with a girl he asked before he and Sadie had a thing, his dates name was Eve and she was a very pretty girl that Sadie was fairly jealous of. Sadie and Callie danced together for a while but then Asher came over and danced with Sadie so Callie danced with their other friend Adelaide. Finally after all the flirting Asher asked Sadie out and of course she said "yes". Soon everyone knew they were together and thought of them as to be inseparable from one another. Months went by and Asher started being mean to Sadie. He would say hurtful things, call her names, get mad at her for hanging out with friends or doing anything besides stay at home. Sadie was a very emotional person and Asher pushed that. After a year and a half of Sadie and Asher being together all the time and dating, Sadie got pushed over the edge and broke up with him. This, started some drama.
