So much for my happy ending

I sat in the car, waiting for my boyfriend to come out with our food. My phone buzzed with a text from my friend.

Text [Bestie]: Hay boi!
Text [Me]: Hay!!!!!
Text [Bestie]: Wanna go hangout l8r?
Text [Me]: Sorry gurl, hanging out with bae rn.
Text [Bestie]: Boi, he gonna dump u soon.
Text [Me]: Oh, yeah, sure he is.
Text [Bestie]: Look up.

As I looked up from my phone, my eyesight became blurry. I saw my boyfriend, my boyfriend with a girl. My boyfriend with a girl?! Tears flowed down my eyes. How could he do this to me?! Even though he knows what I'm going through! I got out, slamming the door. "Paul, you fucking bastard!" I screamed at him. He turned, looking from the girl to me. His eyes turned cloudy, his beautiful blu- no, Axel, focus. "Babe, please....it's not what you think," His voice was shaking, his lip began to quiver. "It's not what I think?! My bestie Jay just told me that you hooked up with her sister while I was in NY, getting my dream job as a Broadway actor!" I screamed at him. "Axel, please, I said I'd be with you forever, even through your transition to be a boy!" I turned away, not looking at him. "You said you would be there. You said. Yet you were never there!" I cried, Jay pulling up in her Mazda 6. I ran to her car, getting in it. "Drive Jay, drive, please!" I cried at her. She nodded and drove off. I sat there in silence.
