"No,no,no." I whispered harshly as my hands shook."Please pick up please.."
The familiar voicemail came on,as I cursed under my breath.
"Come out,come out wherever you are,you can't hide for long Adina"
I got up quickly,as I let out a stifled sob.I need to hide now!
An old dumpster,lay in a corner,I ran as fast as my feet could carry me,as I slid behind it,praying that he didn't find me,he couldn't.
I heard a cat screech,as something was thrown at it.
"Sweet,sweet Adina,you didn't think you could hide from me for long did you?"
I bit down hard on my lip as I saw his shadow,he was close by.
"Oh Adina,you already know that I love you so why try to run away?"
I swallowed a scream,as the shadow took out a sharp pointed object from his pants,a knife.
"Some people just have different,ways of expressing themselves,I promise,this will only take a second." I heard a grunt as he kicked down an old stove that lay beside the garbage heap,I snuggled closer in the corner,wrapping my hands around my knees.
Please ,please don't let him find me,I prayed.
"The pain,you caused me when you were,with him,it really hurt.Don't you think it's fair that I repay you."
I imagined his face,a disgusting smirk,might have been plastered there.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket,once more,seeing if Carter had decided to text me back.No,reply.
My eyes stung as I rested my head on my knees,sobbing.
I heard heavy breathing as I slowly opened my eyes,his face was just a breath away and his smile,was wide,wider than the cheshire cat,if it was even possible.I screamed as I felt his large hand cover my mouth as he slowly lifted me from my hiding place.
I kicked and moved my hands wildly,as I tried to get away from his grasp.
I bit down hard on his hand,hard enough until I tasted a bitter,crimson liquid.
He dropped me suddenly,from pain."You bitch!" He screamed.
I got up quickly and ran,ran as fast as my feet could take me.
"Help,please help me!" I shouted.
I felt something tug on my waist and I was suddenly slammed into a hard surface,my head aching in pain.
My hand shot up to my head,swiftly and a sticky liquid was present on my hands.
"You are going to learn to behave,whether you like it or not."
His hands reached toward me,as I pushed him away."Get away from me!"I screamed.
His hands reached around my neck,as I felt them grasping my windpipe.
"I'm tired of your little stunts!" He shouted. "I've worked too hard for this,and you aren't gonna ruin it got that?"
I had no option to do anything,I only felt as his hands,tightened around my neck and he forced himself up on me.
I suddenly remembered the knife that was in his pocket.
I felt as my jacket,buttons were opening up one by one.
My hand reached for the handle,of the weapon,as soon as my jacket was successfully pulled off me.
"Any thing to say before I do this?" He said,his breath the scent of alcohol and cigarettes.
"Yeah..." I said my breath,low and raspy."This."
I connected the knife to his neck,as he screamed in pain,falling over on his back.
I stood up quickly,before he had gotten any opportunity to attack me.
I kicked him in the face,as I heard a crack.I jumped on his stomach,and to finish it off I kicked him where the sun didn't shine.
I heard him erupting in screams as I did it.
I pulled the knife from his neck quickly.
"That will teach you not to mess with me ever again." I spat in his face,as sirens became audible.
Now they come,I thought to myself.
I fixed my eyes toward the bright lights as two police vehicles and an ambulance became visible.
Thank GOD i thought to myself,as hands went around the shoulders of my predator.
