Someone please slap me and make sure I wake up. Becase I dont know if I can stay in this dream for any longer.

Me, a killer, a murderer, and now a nanny…

What’s next, a superstar?

Well I’ll leave that to fate (and the one who holds the pen). First thing is first. How to start a conversation with a little girl?

I looked at her. She was staring at the door from where her mother just left. Well it must be hard for a child if your mother is like that. Well I can’t judge, for have I never even seen my mother before. All I know is she left me and my sister years ago. That is history, and so am I if I don’t take care of this shrimp.

She turned around and looked at me with those blue eyes. She stared directly in me.

“Umm… Hi, the name is Kai, what’s yours?” Stupid head you don’t start a conversation like that.

“I’m hungry.” And that helps me how? “Ok wait here I’ll prepare something.” Nice move smarty pants now what. You know you can’t cook. Perhaps something simple, yea but she is royalty. She doesn’t eat simple things...but than again this place is crazy, and I doubt that they have a chef.

Something simple… “Say little one will pancakes do?” “Yes” she said with a sparkle in her eyes. Ok so it’s decided. Now milk, eggs, water and flour… wow you can actually even get lost in the kitchen. Its like a maze.

“Can I help?” “When in the world did you get in?” oh no that slipped my mouth again.

Please don’t get mad.

“Just now.” Why am I even worrying? She had such a cheerful voice, that even in the dark she would shine with it. “Sure you can help. Do you know where the pans are?” She ran to the other side of the kitchen and brought back a whole bunch of pans. “Thanks but we only need one.” She looked kind of depressed. She went back with the rest of them. Hope that wasn’t too mean of me.

I remember when I helped my sister, but those pancakes tried to eat me…

Let’s just say her food is deadly.

The rest was found with ease. The eggs and milk in that giant refrigerator. And the flour, top shelf in the right corner. Wait I’ll just try to move the bags away.

It stings and its white. Damn flour why did you have to fall. And not just on me even the little one. Wait how is she.. “Buahahahaha you look funny.” Little kids, can’t like them but can’t hate them either.

“You’re not any better you know.” She looked at her little frilly dress and tried to shake away the flour. It had no effect. “Look would you like something else?” “I would like some tea.” She answered straight away. “Fine tea it is. “ A little pot, water, some herbs and a little sugar at the end. “Now watch out because its hot.” She took the cup with the same cheerfulness as before. And went straight to the first table.

Perhaps this wont be so hard. Oh well as long as I don’t have to work in the sewers or as an assassin I’m glad.

I heard a crash. Oh no. No. Anything but that, I even warned her. “Are you all ri…” “Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh” she fell along with the cup.

“Don’t cry...if you cry then…”

The door banged. I'm too young to die.
