Chapter Seven: Trying and Failing to Help Harry

"I-I will." Stuttered Neville Longbottom. "Take her and go Longbottom. As for you two, detention and minus fifty points from Griffindor." Snape told us I could tell that everyone was upset at this but inside I was a little happy at the chance that maybe Ron and I could use this as a chance to make up during detention but all it caused was more fire between us. During lunch I kept hearing odd rumors about Tiger being a five year old I brushed them off until dinner when I saw her sitting with Ron I was a bit uneasy at first but Hermione reassured me that Tiger was fine with and that Ron was assigned to watch her by her cousin after that I felt better but then I saw Tiger going to the staff table towards her cousin. "I wonder what she's doing?" I asked Hermione she just shrugged.

                                                                                 Tiger's POV

I had enough of this so hoping that my punishment was over I walked over to the staff table to see if Jorden could undo the spell on me. As I walked up here I notice that a few teachers were glancing at me. I quickly found my cousin who was in an argument with Professor Snape. "J-Jorden?" I asked nervously. He then said, "Oh hey, Come over here. Maybe you can settle something for us?" "What it?" I asked sitting down. "Okay,What will you bring on a deserted island?" "What category is it?" I asked used to questions like these. "Food." "Alright." I said thinking. "I'll bring a life supply of butterbeer but pinochocio here said that was stupid." "It is, how are you suppose to survive on that junk?" "It's called last resorts, duh." "I would bring fresh water-" "That's stupid! You're on a deserted island, surrounded by the water. Drink that!" "It could have salt in it." "A bit of salt's good for you." "That much salt can kill you." "Then I die happy." "You die foolish." I watched them go back and forth until it started getting bad then I step in, "Calm down, you're both right. Jorden, That water can kill you but Professor, you can use the sweetness in butterbeer as a energy boost." Thought about it then nodded then Jorden said, "So what did you came here for, kiddo?" "Can you reverse the spell? I'm tired of being this way. I motion towards myself. He said to me, "I don't know, Ti, I don't think you have learned your lesson and still need to be punish." "Jorden please! I'm really sorry! I promise I will never fight again!" He then laughed telling whatever to hold still. "Verum Reformabit." He said the was a flash of light soon I felt like my normal self. I smiled thanking him he just shooed me away telling me to get lost. I then went to bed the next day I was sitting in potions when Colin Creevery showed up asking for Harry a few minutes after I asked Jorden if I could use the bathroom he just nodded his head. I then followed him to Professor Dumbledore's office at the bottom of the stairs I see Myrtle I smiled at her saying, "Hi Myrtle." "What are doing?" I looked down embarrass, "I'm trying to help Harry get out of being a champion. Do you know what they're doing in there?" "Lying and something to do with wands." She told me. "Do you know what specially?" "Examination." "I think Ron might have his old one, Maybe I can fool them into thinking that I broke his so he won't be able to participate." I said out loud to her. "It could work." She told me nodding. "Can you stay here and watch them?" I asked her eagerly she told me yes then I went off in search for that broken wand to my unfortunately he got rid of it but the twins made me a fake one which I now quickly ran back once I was there Harry was coming out of a broom closet odd but I could now put my plan in action. I knocked over a stack of books coming in while they were focus on that I switched the wands but a lady with odd shaped glasses asked me why was I here I quickly told her told her that I was here to drop off Harry's work from potions but I forgot it. She started staring at me creepily soon Cedric was at my side asking me if I would mind getting his work from his teachers I smiled a bit telling him I would he smiled back looking relived I notice that lady looking at me then started writing something down suddenly Harry was at my side telling me to leave. I frowned but did as he said before I did I told Cedric that i'll meet him in the common room to give him his work as I went down stairs where I met Myrtle who was waiting for me as I walked to get Cedric's classwork she asked me, "Are you alright?" "I'm just worried for Harry, thats all." She then put her hand on my shoulder I looked up to her saying, "Listen Tiger, from what I know about Harry. He's a strong person,I believe he can make it." I smiled a bit then said, "Thank you Myrtle I needed that." "Anything for a friend." After I gathered Cedric's classwork and gave it to him it was time for dinner I then headed towards the great hall. As I sat down I saw Harry and Ron talking to each other I smiled thinking that they made up but when I asked Ron about it he told me that he just told him he had an owl and talked about our detention. "Oh." I said sadly he asked me, "Why did you need my old wand?" I then told him about what happened earlier once I was finished he asked, "Do you think it worked?" "I don't know, I hope so." I said silently suddenly not feeling hungry anymore.
