"Ugghhhhh!" Mom do we really have to go! As I cried, not wanting to leave Chicago.
"Yes Malia we have to go!" Now get in!! My mom cries.
"Ok everyone lets hit the road!!" Said mom.
I am not looking forward to a new start in my life!! It's my senior year and all I wanted to do was to enjoy it with my best friends, Natalie and Brianna. But no, we are moving to Chicago for my moms new job. My brother, Mikey is in
college at duke university, so he doesn't really care.
As we leave to hit the road, I beg once more, no chance. My parents stop to get some snacks, as they do that, I text my friends.
"I'm going to miss you guys!!, hopefully we can visit each other!" I say in a group message.
"I know hopefully I can and visit ur new school!!!"says Brianna
"Girrrrlllll, why do you have to move now!!!, it was our senior year, we could've went to high parties and enjoy ourselves before we went to college!" Said Natalie
"I'm sorry guys I have to go, there's going to be no service pretty soon. I'll text you when I get to Chicago!! Ttyl!"
I then ended the text and we were going now. This was a boring road trip, but, I'm going to stay positive and hopefully meet new people.
We get to Chicago, I've been here once, but I was little. We get to our new house, it's big and modern. Its was beautiful!!! I thought it was going to be bad, but I'm already loving it! The weather is cool and nice! I get inside and pick my room. It's a pretty big size and it has a bathroom with it. I liked that about the room.
After we get settled in, and unpacked all our stuff I hear the doorbell ring. I open it and see a boy my age, he is hot!!
"Hi, my name is Matthew Sanders and I live next door." He said with a fruit basket in his hands.
"Hey I'm Malia Peterson." I say taking the basket of fruits.
"My mom told me to bring this over, she said it's polite."
"Ok, well thanks! See you around!"
I've gotta say, he was pretty cute! He had green eyes with brunette hair, he was also kinda muscular. This move isn't so bad after all.
