I slowly lifted my hand and waved back. He shot me a smile, then walked off.

I turned around and sat back down on the bed. Adam was touring the room. "Adam, don't touch anything" I warned him.

"I wasn't gonna- wow, look at this!" He exclaimed. I quickly went over to him, he was holding what seemed to be an old brown jewelry box.

I doubt it was jewelry that was in it though.

"Adam, put it down" I told him. He sighed and eventually set the suspicious looking box back in its place.

"Listen, please do not touch anything, we can't trust this place until we know exactly what's going on, okay?" I said making eye contact with him.

He nodded and sat down on the other bed.

I was still worried as to why his pulse was gone. Maybe it had something to do with that mysterious man that came in here earlier. I just hoped that the man would tell me the answers I needed to keep my mind at ease. I remember what he said about the powers that me and Adam had.

Did that have something to do with Adam coming back from the dead?

No... now, I'm just having silly thoughts.

Of course I couldn't forget about the cute guy I saw in the window. His jawline was so sharp and his eyes could melt your heart into bits.

He was the only thing that kept dismissing the bad sensation that had been creeping into me ever since i laid my eyes on this place.

Unexpectedly, a yawn left my mouth. I was exhausted.

How could I be exhausted after blacking out? Hmm... maybe blacking out tires out your body instead of making you feel rested.

Even though I wasn't too fond of going to sleep at a time like this, I still laid down and gently rested my head on the pillow. Not very long after, I was out like a light.

I heard a voice coming from somewhere. My eyes fluttered open to see Adam sleeping, and the man that was in here recently, standing at the door.

"Get up, it's time for dinner. I'm taking you and Addie out to a restaurant I have booked for us." he said nonchalantly.

Oh, yea... dinner.

"Um, his name isn't Addie you stupid shit." I said not giving a damn on how rude I sounded. I wasn't mad that he called Adam 'Addie' at all. In fact if it wasn't in this situation I would've been on the floor laughing by now. It was mostly, because he wouldn't answer a single one of my questions after kidnapping me and who does he think he is bossing me around?

"I don't give a damn on what his name is. If it were't for your father, I would've discarded of both of you in a blink of an eye."

My father?

"What about my father?" I said speaking my thoughts aloud.

"How many times have I told you that I was going to answer every damn question of yours during dinner?! Why the hell are you so impatient?" He answered saying the last part rhetorically.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I never knew I was gonna get kidnapped, and then told I had magical powers..." I said with sarcasm as clear as daylight in my voice.

He pointed his index finger at the closet beside the door. "There are clothing in there for you, and your brother." He said ignoring my snide remark, "I want you guys ready in 20 minutes." he said turning around and facing the door. He then walked out shutting the door in my face, and I'm pretty sure I heard him say some curse words as he left.
