Life as a Maniac (Gotham, Jerome fanfic)

How you meet

You were being sent to Arkham for being mentally disturbed and killing a few dozen cops and civilians(no biggie) you walk into the room and the first thing you see is your friend Barbra reading a magazine.

"Hay babs! Didn't know you where here! What ya in for?"

"Killing my parents."
You seemed quite shocked by this as last time you saw Barbra she looked as happy as ever with Jim...Jim?
"How are you and Jim doing?"
"Jim? Oh he's gone off with some girl called lee"
The name lee struck a cord in you head and then remembered that that was the name of the woman Jim saved when you let hell lose in the GCPD.
"Let's not worry about Jim...why are you here (y/n) ?
"Killing a few cops and some other stuff"
Suddenly you notice a tall ginger kid walking your way and when he made eye contact with you a big grin whipped across his face. Barbra saw him and stood up and walked away but not before whispering to you
"Watch out this ones crazy"
That didn't shock you though...it made you curious. You started to get lost in your own thoughts until you heard a thud at the table and you suddenly looked up.
"Hiya Gorgeous, I'm Jerome"
"Um...hi"
"So what's your name doll?"
"(Y/l/N) , (Y/f/n)and, doll...really? Your already giving me a nickname and a crapy one at that."
"Nice name,(y/n)"
He says slowly and rolls out the last letter.
"I like it! It has a nice ring to it, and what do you mean crapy nickname? I think it suits you very well...doll"
The way he said doll made you shudder and cringe. You felt the conversation getting a bit awkward so you were glad when a tall man came over and sat next to you.
"Hi, I'm sionis what's your name?"
You had a feeling that this conversation was going to be WORSE than the previous one with Jerome.
"It's (y/n) and it's nice to meet you" you said with a smile.
"Oh it's very nice to meet you (y/n). Has anyone told you how beautiful you are?"
"Um...no...so thanks I guess"
Jerome was looking at sionis like he was about to rip him up. Suddenly you felt an arm around your shoulders and a shiver went down you spine. It was sionis
"Wouldn't want You getting cold now would we? Come with me, I'll show you something cool."
You let him lead you to his cell, why is he bringing you here?
"So do you have any weapons on you?"
"No...why?"
He smiled at this.
"Good..."
Suddenly you felt him pin you to the cell wall and he pulled out a gun, you tried to push him off but he was to strong.
"Get the fuck off me"
You felt his hands digging into your wrists that he had pinned against the wall when you suddenly heard the cell door open.
"Bad move"
You recognised the voice instantly...Jerome.
Jerome grabbed sionis and turned him round and punched him right in the face.
"That's for (y/n)"
He gave you a little wave and a smile and then kicked him where it hurts (y'all know. Where I'm talking about)
"And THATS for steeling the remote last week!"
He started to laugh but he was caught off guard and sionis grabbed Jerome and chucked him across the cell.He looked at you and started to run straight at you, you tried to back away but you were cornered.
"I haven't been aloud to kill anyone is AGES! This will be fun"
Suddenly he grabbed your head and smashed it against the cold, damp cell wall. Darkness started creeping in as you felt your self going unconscious.

You woke up in your sell with a banging head ache you looked around in a state of panic.
"It's ok doll, he's gone, it's me Jerome."
He walked over to you and smiled.
"How long was I out?"
"Few hours or so, I bandaged your head and dealt with sionis...he won't be bothering you ever again"
That devilish smile crept onto his face once again
"Dealt with him. How?"
Jerome lifted up a hand covered in blood.
"Hello"
He said while waving the hand around mockingly. You couldn't help but laugh.
He sat you up and lifted your chin up and gave you a drink of water
"Not a very good start at Arkham doll"
You just smiled and he smiled back

Since then, you and Jerome have been best buddy's.
