Tia's P.O.V:
I grab my keys and leave the apartment leaving Olivia sleeping. I walk down to the nearest bar and slide onto one of the stools at the bar. Ash comes over. "Double Vodka and Coke?" "Hold the Coke." "Rough day?" I nod.

He brings it over rather quickly and I down it. "Thanks Ash." A guy in the stool next to me looks over. "Hi." I don't even turn to look at him. "So what could have happened that was so rough today? Chipped a nail? The hair salon didn't have any appointments? Your boyfriend looked at another girl? If you only knew the easy life you had."

Easy life. If only he knew. "I don't wear fake nails, my cousin does my hair. I don't even have a boyfriend. Don't judge people before you even know them or what they have to go through."

I stand up to leave, the guy grabs my wrist. I take the time to get a closer look at him. He has short brown hair that was kind of messy. He is wearing simple jeans and a top with combat boots and a nice leather jacket.

"Don't go. I'm sorry, I was only messing. I'm Dean by the way. Dean Winchester." Winchester? Where the fuck have I heard that name before?

Dean's P.O.V:
I order another drink when a blonde girl with her hair tied up sits on the stool next to me and orders a double Vodka. She's wearing a red plaid top, blue jeans and some combat boots, similar to mine.

"Hi." She doesn't even bother to look at me or respond. I give her some snide speech about how hard her day must have been. She has a go back at me and that's when I realise this girl must have had a bad day.

She stands up to leave but I grab her wrist to stop her. "Don't go. I'm sorry, I was only messing. I'm Dean by the way. Dean Winchester." Her face softens and she sits back down.

"I'm Tia. That's all you need to know." Ooo a feisty one. "I'm sorry about before Tia. I've had a rough day myself." Seeing a kid die will do that to you.

"Do you fancy heading back to my hotel room and talking?" She laughs. "Talking? So that's what you call it these days?" "I mean it. Usually this would be the sort of time I'd take a girl back and fuck her. But you're different. There's some sort of glow about you."

She laughs. "Only talking." I nod and lead her out of the bar. We walk in silence back to my hotel and I unlock my door quickly. I let her go in before me as I like to see myself as some sort of a gentleman.

She plops herself down on my bed and calls me over. "So Dean. Why are you not settled down yet?" "I can't afford to be. In my line of work I travel a lot and I don't want anyone I care about to get hurt or feel abandoned."

"What if you meet someone in the same line of work?" "Tried that. It didn't end well." "What is your line of work?" "That's classified Tia." "Ooo a secret spy. Okay tell me this. Do you not think if you cared about someone that much you would do anything to protect them?"

She's right, it's true. But I always protect everyone I care about. Especially Sammy. But bad things still happened. You can't stop everything.

"Dean..." I forgot I totally didn't answer her. "Sorry, I guess you're right but there are even some things you can't protect people from." If only she knew the dangers that lurked round every corner.

I kicked my shoes off and got more comfortable on the bed. She copied me and did the same. "Dean...why do you see a glow in me?" "I- I don't know Tia. I've never seen it before. There's something about you that's special."

"It's because-" All of a sudden all that is heard is the familiar sound of flapping wings. A sound I know too well. We both stare at the figure in a trench coat. "Castiel!" We say in unison. "Wait, you know him Tia?"
