"Where are we now? I want answers people," Marlie demanded.
"Director Hockley, we are trying to find the whereabouts of Agents Kennedy, Klein, and Reed. They've disappeared off the map," Lily Baker replied.
"Isn't it your job to know where everyone is, Agent Baker?" Marlie asked. She stopped at the last second and calmed down. "I'm sorry, Agent Baker. That was out of line. This is just really stressful. Three of our best agents are gone and no one knows where they are. I want all resources used until we find something. Any information needs to be on my desk immediately. The clock is ticking, people. Move fast," Marlie ordered as everyone stood up and rushed to their desks.
Marlie walked out of the conference room and entered her office across the hall. She didn't know she was being watched.
Samantha Fulton and Lily Baker sat in their offices trying to find anything. They knew how much Marlie was stressing. Marlie worked hard on all her cases, but this one was personal. Samantha and Lily exited their offices and knocked on Marlie's door.
"Come in," a voice answered from the other side of the door. Samantha and Lily entered and sat in the chairs opposite Marlie's desk.
"Did you find anything?" Marlie asked, hope in her eyes.
"No," Lily answered. "Marlie, are you so stressed out because of you and Chris and..."
"Chris broke up with me. I still care very much about him, but I'm learning to cope. Chris is an amazing agent who was so close to solving a major case. That's why I need him, not because I want my ex-boyfriend back. I will find him, and I won't let my emotions get it the way," Marlie interrupted.
"You and Chris were so close, Marlie. Are you sure you can handle this case? We're just worried for you," Samantha promised.
"Sam, I'm fine. I promise, I totally am. Like I said, Chris broke up with me. I shouldn't let my emotions get in the way if he didn't let his emotions rule him," Marlie argued.
Sam opened her mouth to say something when the door opened. Agent Melody Lewis rushed inside and slammed the door. "Director Hockley, when was the last time Agents Kennedy, Klein, and Reed were seen?"
"Friday night around five when they left the office," Marlie replied.
"That's 63 hours," Lily added.
"Make that 39 hours," Melody corrected. She dropped a file on Marlie's desk. Marlie opened the file and looked at the photos inside. As Marlie assessed the contents Melody began to speak. "All three agents were spotted talking to Agent Emma Anderson at the Cicily, downtown Saturday night. Their conversation topics are unknown, but we do know Emma took a sick day today."
"Let's go pay Agent Anderson a visit," Marlie announced.

Marlie, Sam, and Lily walked up the steps to Emma's apartment. They knocked on the door and received no answer. "Weapons ready. Desperate times call for desperate measures," Sam said as she kicked the door in. They held up their guns and were greeted by an empty apartment.
"There's nothing here. Someone left in a hurry," Lily remarked as she went through the piles of paper on the coffee table. "All her cases."
"That's not good," Sam said. Sam went into the bedroom and checked the entire room. "Nothing in here."
"There's nothing in the kitchen either. Lily, pack up the case files. Someone else will need to take them. Emma Anderson is now officially a wanted suspect in the disappearance of 3 FBI agents," Marlie announced. Lily and Sam picked up all the files and walked out the door.
Marlie grabbed her phone and dialed the DC police department. "This is Director Marlie Hockley. I need a inspection of Agent Emma Anderson's apartment; this location is now a crime scene involved in the Kennedy, Klein, and Reed case."
A young brunette woman all in black walked up to the door and knocked. "Password?" A voice asked from the other side.
"Altwood," the lady replied. The door opened quietly. The woman looked to make sure she wasn't being followed and stepped inside. She shut the door behind her and the lights flashed on.
"Hello, Emma," a man said from the table.
"Chris," she replied. She walked to the table and sat in the empty chair. Three guys stared at her as she reached into her purse and pulled out a manila envelope. She slid it across the table at Chris. He grabbed the envelope and dumped the contents on the table. "All the FBI codes that I know. You'll need someone higher up to get more of the passcodes. How do you not know the codes, anyway?"
"If any agent is missing for 48 hours their access is revoked in case any foreign people try to get the codes. Since we haven't been seen for 72 hours, our access is gone," Lucas explained.
"Not anymore. The codes change every day, but with these codes we can learn them for the other days. I'll ask Claire to hack into the mainframe and get our badges to work again," Chris interrupted. "Ladies and Gentlemen, or Lady, now we began our mission."
