As Amani and Alastor walked through the forest, a tree house came into view, it was rather large and it was in an oak tree. Alastor started to climb the ladder up to the top, Amani followed him and clambered onto the ledge. Alastor opened the door and walked inside, Amani walked in after him and closed the door slowly, she looked around, there were so many books scattered on the floor (mostly notebooks) and there were drawings on the walls, there were also four mattresses, some pillows and blankets. The place may seam messy but it intrigued Amani. Alastor looked at her intensely.

"Sorry it's a bit of a mess, when I think, I write and I've been filling many notebooks lately, I just don't have a place for them" Alastor says coldly.

Amani nods, she doesn't know why but something about Alastor scared her slightly, she didn't feel safe around him. Alastor looked at her again, then left without saying a word, Amani sighed because now, she was all alone. While she waited for him to come back, she took a closer look at the pictures in the wall, some were of whispers, some were of the forest, but one picture really caught her eye, it was her, and another girl who looked just like her, they were both standing back to back and they both had swords. Amani stared at the drawing, it scared her, it confused her, but yet, it intrigued her further to solve the mystery that her life was becoming.

Hours past and Amani was still alone, wondering where Alastor was, and why he hadn't told her where he was going. She sighed loudly in frustration, she was so confused and she didn't like it, she hated this. After a few moments of thought, she decided to go for a walk, she walked out the door and climbed down the ladders and then started to make her way through the forest.

'Please don't leave us' she heard a voice mumble 'we love you, you're our baby and we need you to wake up'.

Amani shuddered, where were the voices coming from? Her head? Maybe. Amani kept walking, feeling a little freaked out. After a while of walking she could hear them again, pleading for someone or something to wake up. Amani felt curious, she started to follow the voices, she originally thought that it was a bad decision but she no longer cares, she needed answers to what was going on and maybe the voices could help her. The voices enticed her in a way, made her want to go near them, to figure them out, to gain knowledge on the what and why of them. Amani could hear the voices getting louder, but yet they were still mumbled, she knew she was getting closer but with each step she grew more and more afraid of what she would find. What if the voices weren't friendly? What it they were murderers? What if they were louring her in with the bait of curiosity just to kill her? She shook off those feeling because she could hear the mumbles clearly now, she knew they were close. Amani peered around a rather large oak tree, she stared at the sight that she saw. There were a crowd of whispers around a young girl, they are seam to be yelling at her but their voices only come out as quiet, whispering pleas. The girl looked a lot like a little Amani, she had her long wavy hair, but instead of a dark brown the girls was an almost white blonde, her eyes were the same watery grey though. Amani took a closer look at the girl, she looked absolutely terrified of the whispers. Amani picks up a small stick and run over, she hits the whispers with it and one by one they evaporate. The little girl looks up at Amani with wide eyes fillied with tears.

"Hey, it's okay, they're gone" Amani says and wipes away her tears "what's your name? What age are you?"
"Cullo" she mumbles quietly "I'm 9"

Amani looked at Cullo, she looked so scared and fragile, Cullo looks so much like Amani. Cullo looked up at Amani, she knew she could trust her, but she didn't know why.

"I'm going to a safe place, I'm taking you with me cause it's not safe out here" Amani says and picks Cullo up, Cullo nods at her.

Amani walks through the forest with Cullo on her back, they head towards the tree house. The bright yellow sky dims and the blood red sun starts to fade into the night. Amani picks up her pace and goes faster to get there in time. They make it to the treehouse, Amani climbs up with Cullo still on her back, she walks in and notices that Alastor is still not there, she sighs and puts Cullo down on a mattress and lays a blanket over her. Cullo yawns and quickly falls asleep, she was clearly very tired. Amani smiles at her, glad she was able to help her. She lays herself down on a mattress and wraps herself in a blanket, her vision goes blurry and her eyes grow heavy, she slowly falls asleep.

-Amani's eyes flutter open, she sees the ocean, it looks so beautiful and calm. She breathes in the blissful peace that she feels, she can relax and be care free. The sky suddenly goes red and so does the ocean, she dips her hand in it but it's no longer water, it's blood. She hears screaming, telling her to come home. She chokes out sobs, she doesn't know what they are trying to tell her and she doesn't know what to do.-

Amani yelps and opens her eyes, her forehead is covered in a coat of sweat, she wiped it a way. She breathes out, knowing it was just a dream, relief floods over her. She looks around, it's still night, Alastor is asleep on a mattress, she smiles slightly, they're safe, she lets sleep take over her once more.
