I scan the mysterious room cautiously. It is the size of a skyscraper and as blue as the sky with many original, inviting windows. How can this be my new school? This is nothing like what I was told it would be. I'm sadly waving goodbye to my sweet parents who just dumped me in this prison in a frantic search to find somewhere. I want to be homeschooled but no! When you're like me it's almost as if your opinions are invisible. I should probably say my name if we are going to be friends. My name is Esme, now I know what you're thinking," ha-ha that sounds like she is ancient", well I am not!
I'm 12, and sometimes I isolate myself away from everyone because nobody really likes me. I'm basically that one person at the back of the class nobody notices, and if they do then it's because people have spread a nasty rumor, the "popular kids". In my old school there was a bunch of girls called Tiffany, Tess, Thalia and Tilly who called themselves the Talented group ( The T stands for trouble makers of course )
I only met them when I bumped into Tiffany. She has hideous locks and her face is more orange than an oompa loompa from charlie and the chocolate factory and has enough make-up to supply the world. She was boasting about some boring heels she got (the only thing she needs is a zip to keep her mouth closed). She screamed almost like she had been shot then she shoved me out of the way. I swear after that she looked at me like a peasant and murmured something horrible about my hair. They were the popular girls, the ones with the rich parents, the ones with new boyfriends every-day the "players" as everyone calls them. I ask you, why does every type of person have a label like geek, jock, goth, emo ect. Who needs them?
I'm going off-track, stay focused Esme. I steadily walk into the bewildering school (aka. the prison cell) and I wished that there was a hole I could slide into and avoid all confrontation. Because I was in a bit of a rush and my alarm went off late I'd gone and done my uniform wrong and everybody pointed at me harshly and laughed heartily at me. I ran away, sobbing my eyes out (glad i didnt have mascara on) into a surrounding room. It was incredibly quaint and sweet, but to make up for it there was a gold mirror shining like the sun. A kind-seeming girl with wispy brown hair tapped my shoulder and whispered "It's very beautiful, isn't it?"
I nervously look around "You scared me!" I reply "But yes, it is beautiful". "My name is Trinity Heart-stone, I have only just got here. Bit scary on your own isn't it?", she spoke calmly. "Well... I..I.. it is a bit scary, yes. I'm Esme Knightrider" I stammer. "That is a totally retro name, awesome!" She responded cheerfully. "Do you know where we have to go..? I'm a little lost.." I whispered. " I know most of the way from my sister, maybe you have heard of her; Her name is Alli Heart-stone and she is a few years above us", she spoke with a beam on her face, the rays shining off of it almost like an angel. This girl was a schoolsaver, I think she would make a great friend.
