C.J was a high school freshman on the best basketball team in the country. All of the players were D1 recruits on the team. It was hard enough to make the varsity team let alone playing time. He knew he wouldn't get playing time until his junior year or unless somebody got hurt. He said to himself while on the bench " I'm should a went to JV , at least I would have got some playing time." He was so upset that he was even thinking about leaving the school and going somewhere else to play ball. The team made it all the way to state championship game in Madison Square Garden. C.J wanted to be part of the success but he knew he wouldn't get playing time. The school would be facing the Royals which was ranked #2 in the state and #5 to the country. The Tigers Coach which was Coach Shaq told them this would be the hardest game of the year simply because the roll they have been on. The Royals have beaten teams by at least 50 points on average. The team was warming up on the court and C.J was wondering why he was warming up if he knew he wasn't playing. Coach Shaq called them into the huddle and hyped them all up. The starting point guard Malachi Thompson which was #1 ranked in the country was possibly playing in his last game for the school as he was going to Duke university to play basketball. C.J also was a point guard and was the back up for him. The starters got on the court while C.J took his regular spot on the bench. " Why am I here , I know I'm not playing." The refs , the players , the coaches ,the fans and C.J were ready. The game was about to begin.
