Daniel (Narrating): My name is Daniel Hawthorne. I'm 23 years old. I am a Rock musician: I play the guitar and drums. I've been trained how to use numerous weapons like guns, swords, knives and axes. I'm a skilled martial artist, being prevalent in the arts of Karate, Judo and Tae Kwon Do. I come from a long lineage of kings and queens, so I am the prince of this kingdom I live in. I live with my stepfather and my mother in said kingdom after my father was wrongfully imprisoned. Some say he committed arson, and some say he kidnapped a 15 year old girl for money, but he would never do those things. I thought my stepfather was a good man for a while, until I started noticing a strange pattern in his behavior. My suspicions are getting stronger as we speak. This is my story.

(Daniel and his brother James are playing laser tag on the field.)
Daniel: I'm gonna get ya!
James: *chuckles* No you're not!
*Electronic zap*
Daniel: Ha! You missed!
*Zaps again*
Daniel: Aw, you got me!
James: *Chuckles* You need to work on your skill more, little bro.
Daniel: Hey, I'm plenty skilled at this.
James: Keep dreaming, D-man.
*They both laugh*
Daniel: So what do you want to do now?
James: Well, little Tommy needs help building his sand castle. I think we should--
King Garrett: Boys! Lunch time!
Daniel: Alright! I'm starving!
James: Me too!
(They both run inside the castle to go eat)
Daniel: Aw, sweet! Fried turkey and mashed potatoes!
James: My favorite!
(Their brother Aaron looks at them funny)
Aaron: James, you say that about every food.
James: Do not!
Daniel: J, don't start. Remember what happened the last time you squabbled with him?
James: He almost broke both of my legs?
Daniel: Exactly.
*Aaron laughs*
James: Shut up, Aaron!
Garrett: Boys!
James & Aaron: Sorry, dad.
(Their sister, Kira arrives at the table.)
Kira: Hey guys.
Daniel: Hey, Kira! What's with the dress?
Kira: Oh, I'm going on a special date tonight.
James: Ooooh, who's the lucky guy?
*He slaps James on the shoulder*
Daniel: James! You know that's my real sister right?!
James: Geez dude, calm down. You know I didn't mean to take it like that.
Daniel: Just don't do that again, please.
James *Sigh* Alright, alright.
Daniel: But seriously though, who is the guy, Kira?
