****After School****
Austin and I always meet at our lockers after school but today he's taking a long time to get here. The last bell rang at 3:08 now its 3:40, the halls where getting empty since kids were leaving. I sat down on the floor and opened my book up but before I could I was being pulled up harshly.
"Hello, Rebbeca!" He smiles, my heart began to pound hard and fast like as if it was going to jump out of my chest or something.
"You missed me?" He smiles as he leans near my neck, I felt his hot breath against my skin.
"Stop Carson, please you're hurting me!" I pleaded as he tightened his grip on my arm.
"Too bad, bitch." He says grabbing some of my hair with his other hand and yanking it down hard. I cried as I put my hand over his,
"Shut the fuck up!" He says to me. He attacked my neck with his lips, he kissed me hard and rough. It hurt a lot more than him pulling on my hair,
"Stop Carson please!" I cried with tears streaming down my face. Please, not again!
****1 hour later****
I hugged myself against the lockers, my eyes were irritated from crying so much. My top was ripped so I threw my sweater that I had in my locker on and just sat there crying. This was the third time this had happened... why me?! I heard a beep come from my phone.. I forgot that Austin never showed up, I look over at it and its a message from him.
'Sorry I left you hanging, I'll explain right now just meet me outside. I'm in front of the school. -Austin'
I sighed and wiped my tears away, I ran my fingers through my hair to make it look like how it was before, and I grabbed my stuff. I walked outside and saw his car, I checked the time on my phone but then I noticed the hickey on my neck. My eyes widened and I pulled up my sweater trying to cover it up good thing it worked a little. I walked quickly to Austin's car and sat in the passenger's seat.
"Hey Becks, I'm so sorry I left you there waiting and not showing up. I scored a date with Meghan! All I had to do was ask her for her number and take her home. I'm sorry!" He says as he started the car. This is why he blew me off? Making me wait for 40 minutes then get raped by Carson going through all that because he got a date with some girl? Fucking pathetic.
"Hm." Was all I said.
"Becky, I'm sorry!" He says as I still ignored him looking out my side of the window. He sighs,
"Rebbeca! I'm talking to you."
"Yeah well I don't want to talk to you. You know what can you just pull up over to the curve?" I asked.
"No. I'm taking you home!" He says.
"Austin, just pull over to the curve. I'll walk." I said.
"REBBECA LET ME JUST TAKE YOU HOME!" He yells swerving into another lane. My eyes widened in fear,
"I-I'm sorry Becks." He says.
"No. You know what.. I'm the sorry one. I'm walking home, I'm the one who caused you to worry about meeting up when I was the one who just needed some stupid make up work, and I could've just walked home." I said.
"Rebbeca. You're my best friend why would I let you walk home when I have a car?" He says. Without saying anything I just opened the door and got out. I swung my backpack over my shoulders and began to walk to the Hanson's.
A few minutes later I heard a beep behind me,
"Becky come on, get inside." I hear Austin say.
"No. I'm walking and that's it." I said.
"Fine but I'm going to follow you till you get home safe and after that I'm going to call you as soon as you get there." He says. I sighed and looked down at my shoes as I walk.
*****At the Hanson's*****
After I finished eating the sandwhich they made for dinner, I was talking to Austin over the phone. I was really quiet because I haven't said anything since he called, the only reason why he hasn't hung up yet is because he can hear me breathing.
"Beeeeeckkyy.. please talk to me." He says. Silence.
"Rebbeca!" He says again. Silence.
"Fine. You leave me no choice. Maaaaarrrrriiiiiieeeee." He says making me cringe.
"Shut up." I said.
"OH MY LORD! BECKY SAID SOMETHING! THIS IS IMPROVEMENT!" He yells.
"Shh! You yelled in my ear!" I said.
"Oops! Sorry Becks!" He whispers, I sighed.
"I'm really sorry." He says.
"Just tell me one thing Austin." I said.
"Will you let any girl get in the way of our friendship...? Our 8 years of friendship?" I asked.
"What?! Becky how could you think that I would let someone get in the way of our friendship? You're my best friend!" He says.
"Mhm.. just asking because after what had happened today-" He interrupts me by saying,
"I promise you.. no one and nothing with get in the way of our friendship. I won't let that happen. You mean so much to me..you're my other half, Becks. My best friend of 8 years and counting." He says.
"That's good to hear, Austin. Thank you, you too." I said.
"No problem. It probably won't work out with Meghan anyways so, I don't know don't expect us to stay long." He says.
"Why say that?" I asked.
"She's into a lot of guys. She'll probably screw up after the first date.. I don't know what I was thinking about when I was happy that I landed a date with her." He says.
"I don't either.. everyone knows she can't last a second without a guy's-"
"I know, I know you don't have to say the rest." He interrupts me feeling disgusted. I laughed a bit,
"Hey... Austin have you ever had it?" I asked.
"No.. why.. have you yet?" He asks. I began to feel uncomfortable about this topic we're heading into.. I mean I'm not all 'eww' about it, its normal. It's just that... I haven't had sex, sex. With an actual love feeling to it.. I've been forced into it against my will. Rape.. 3 times.. not once or twice but three. I've never lied to Austin... I have always told him the truth but this one will just have to wait.
"I got to go.. good night Austin." I said.
"Wait you have-" He says but I intereupt him by hanging up. I placed my phone on my night stand and looked up at the ceiling.
"Please let tomorrow be good.. at least." I said before shutting my eyes and going to sleep.
