"Thank you." Bellamy nodded, getting up and leaving Rowan in the dark once again. His hands rubbed over his face in frustration after he climbed down the ladder to the second floor. Octavia Blake spotted her brother, running over to find out what she could.

"So?" O asked, not seeing any use for saying any more. Bellamy knew exactly what his sister was referring to.

"She says we don't stand a chance. Grounders are too strong for us." Bell admitted, frowning once he noticed Octavia visibly deflate. She shook her head, refusing to believe their destiny.

"Well, what about her? She says she has a community, right? They must know how to survive them." Octavia shrugged. Bellamy's eyebrows furrowed thinking over what Rowan had told him. If the grounders were as ruthless as she says and she has fought them, then how is she alive?

Rowan Phillips couldn't believe how unbelievably stupid Bellamy Blake had been. She didn't know if he was too caught up by what she was saying or if he did it on purpose, but Bellamy had left his knife sitting in front of the girl who was supposed to be his captive. Ro smirked once the latch was closed and slipped off her worn boot, reaching her leg out as far as she could so she could barely graze the handle of the weapon. She couldn't help the large grin on her face once the weapon was within her grasp. The knife grazed her pale skin as she attempted to cut the rope making her wince.  Rowan let out a laugh of relief when her arm fell limp beside her.

Quickly, the white haired girl undid her left arm before standing up on wobbly legs. She fell into the wall, attempting to regain her balance as she slipped on her boot. Ro knew there was a high chance Bellamy was still on the floor below her, so she walked the perimeter of her floor until her fingers caught a crack in the metal. She smirked, gripping the cool metal and pulling as hard as she could. Lucky for the forager, the metal had been worn from the crash landing, allowing her small frame to shimmy through and jump to the nearest tree easily.

Her breath quickened as she gripped onto the rough bark. "Ok Ro, you got this." She breathed. Rowan glanced back, catching sight the latch be lifted. The girls mouth dropped in panic, climbing down the tree as fast as she could.

"Rowan!" She heard Bellamy's deep voice call out from above. But, his captive was already sprinting away from the sky people's camp. Breathing in her new sense of freedom.

The oldest Blake on the other hand, couldn't believe his own stupidity. Realizing he left his knife up with Rowan, Bellamy hurried to retrieve it, only to see the forager gone for good. He groaned, punching the wall beside him in frustration without a doubt cutting one of his knuckles. Bell hurried to climb down the ladder, worried someone would realize the girl was missing. Since he was the only one who cared enough to check up on her, nobody had to know.

"Hey, she okay?" Clarke questioned.

"Yeah, I'm going on a walk." Bellamy sighed, brushing past Clarke as she stood eyebrows furrowed. She knew something was up, but the blonde had bigger problems to worry about other than Bellamy's tantrums.

He huffed walking out to where him and Murphy would train. If the grounders really were such a big threat, they would need to be ready when they came and possibly even when Rowan's people come. Murphy stopped him in his tracks, smirking up at the taller boy.

"We going or what?" He asked. Bellamy looked at him confused. Murphy must have noticed since he explained further. "Earlier today, you said we were going on a run. Said you wanted to bring that Charlotte girl for some reason. Kid can't even hold a-"

"Okay, Murphy I get it. Just round everyone up and meet me at the gates. And you aren't going, don't think I've forgotten." Bell sighed, walking past Murphy who looked toward the ground in defeat. He looked out into the dense forest, somehow hoping he would see a flash of white hair running by. Even though he knew she was long gone. A hand clasped onto his shoulder causing Bellamy to spin.

"Here's your little pack." Murphy spat backing away. "Have a blast."

Bellamy rolled his eyes at Murphy's constant complaining , eyes scanning over his group. He glanced down at Charlotte, smiling slightly when she almost lost grip of her knife. "You sure you wanna come?" Charlotte nodded, determined to show everyone that despite her age, she wasn't weak. "Alright, let's move out." Bellamy called, cocking his head to the side. Everyone nodded, following their unofficial leader. Even though it wasn't written in stone, everyone looked towards Bell as a leader. Little did they know, their leader was nothing but a troubled boy on the inside.

Rowan Phillips awakened from her nap to a loud fog horn. Her bright eyes widened slightly, looking from side to side. She knew resting was a bad idea (although it was much needed) and she also knew that the horn was a signal for acid fog. Ro pounced up once the sick yellow fog came into view. She swore, running in the opposite direction. Her arm grazed against a sharp branch, blood beginning to drip from the wound. Rowan winced but never let her pace falter. Silently, she prayed for some miraculous protection. And her prayers were answered when Ro turned a corner into a dark cave, just as the fog drifted by her. She panted, leaning down on her knees exhausted from her sudden adrenaline rush.

"I'll be damned." She heard an all too familiar voice mutter from behind her. Frantically, Rowan spun on her heels coming face to face with none other than Bellamy Blake.
