Sigh. Oh, hello. Didn't see you there. Well, I can't really see you because I'm writing this. I'm Swoops, a Spotted Owlet. Right now I am in my room, which has a nest for me to sleep in, a place to fly off of branches onto the floor, and a food pile. I am an outcast, which means nobody except maybe one person likes you. I doubt I will ever get a friend. Sigh.
I flew out of my room and sighed once morebas I fluttered to the hatchery to sit on eggs so they can hatch. As I flew in, a Masked Owlet snickered. She purposely kicked me and made me fall to the ground. "Oh sorry, didn't see you there." She sneered. She kicked me again and I moaned in pain. "Hey you!" A voice yelled at the Masked Owl. "What are you doing to her?" The same voice said. The Masked Owl made a squeaking noise and ran off. The owl that yelled at the Masked Owl flew over to me. "Are you ok?" He asked me. "Sorta." I said and stood up. "Why was she kicking you like that?" He asked. "I'm an outcast. You know, someone that nobody likes except maybe one person." I answered and hung my head. "I could be that one person for you." He smiled at me. "Thanks, and by the way, I'm Swoops." I said and returned the smile. "I'm Thunderfeather, but you can call me Thunder."
