"Can a relation between two brother's be broken??"he asked, his innocent curious eyes looked straight into mine.
I wanted to tell him the cold truth of life, that once bitter, the heart remains so for the rest of the life when we're grown up, that relationships have little value for most of the people; but i just couldn't do it. Reality, is subtle. I couldn't destroy his brittle yet in all sense the most wonderful world of forgiveness and love, which though an illusion was simply beautiful.
"No." I said giving him a pleasing smile. I knew he'd learn the truth someday but I didn't want to be that source. I could see what my lie had done. His ever watery eyes had lit up, sparkling even brighter with happiness on the knowledge that no harm had been caused to his simple world, that what he thought to be true, is true! How could ANYONE find the strength to shatter his world of innocence, his childhood. I know i couldn't.
