Schuyler's P.O.V:
I opened my eyes and was confronted by blackness. Then I realized that there was something covering my eyes. I tried to take it off but was restricted by the chains wrapped around my wrist; then I tried to pull it down by using my shoulder but failed so I decided to use my knees. I pulled my knees up to my face and slowly tried to pull down whatever was in front of me. I successfully pulled it down and realized that I was in an old abandon barn house. It smelled of dead grass and dead animal. I saw Kylie tied to a post a few feet away; aside from both of us I could not see anyone else around. I twisted trying to get up but soon realized that I too was tied to a post.
"One of them is awake" I heard a voice coming from the shadows.
"I'll be there in an hour" I heard another voice but this one sounded like it was coming from a radio
"What do you know about us?" a man emerged from the shadows and approached me
"I don't know what you are talking about" I told him
"Don't play innocent" he slapped me across the face with the back of his hand
"I don't even know who you are" I yelled at him
"Liar" he told me calmly and slapped me again
"HEEEELLLPPPP!!!!" I yelled on the top of my lungs
"Shut it, no one can hear you" he told me and left back into the shadows with a smile from ear to ear.
"Kylie" I yelled-whispered
I squeezed my hands to make them as small as possible and tried to free them from the chains. After a few minutes I was successful. I tried to get up and realized my ankles where also tied together. I removed my shoes and slid my feet out. I ran toward Kylie and kneeled next to her.
I shook her awake, "Sky what is going on?" she told me once she saw me
"I don't know but we are getting out of here" I replied. Thank the heavens that she was tied with ropes it made it easier to untie her.
"I'm scared" she whispered in my ear as I pulled her up to her feet
"Me too" I dragged her to where I saw sunlight
"They escaped" the man yelled probably into the radio
"Hurry" I ran a pulled her after me
"Come back here and we will kill you girls fast" the man bargained
"As if" we continued running.
"There" Kylie pointed at the opened door
"Found you" the man now stood behind us
"Kylie run" I ordered her
"Not going to leave you here" Kylie refused
"Kylie run now, I'll catch up with you" I yelled at her
"No" she held her ground. I pulled her out and closed the door behind us.
"Kylie I need you to run, hide and once you see it's safe get help" I told her
"Fine, I'll be back soon" she began running away.
"Open this door" the man banged the door
I ran toward the back of the farm. I heard a gunshot and then a loud thump. I figured he was out so I decided to hit something so it would make a lot of noise. Then I saw that in a tree there were some wind chimes. I ran toward them and moved them. Hopefully that was loud enough for the man to hear it.
